My husband dropped off a 400 block to be vatted and honed, then put back together. It took almost…read more6 months of monthly phone calls only to find out the block had fractures. Fine, they are busy and short handed. Hair line feactures, it happens, that's the reason he wanted it cleaned up to make it was worth using. My husband goes to pick up his items. A 400 block with new eagle rods with pistons, old rods with pistons, and freeze plugs. All the parts are in a box with his name except the eagle rods and pistons. The owner says, "I'm sorry, I'll have to look for them." He has stopped by a couple times a week. The owner says "We are still looking for them. Come back, in a few days" for the last 6 weeks. Still waiting for them to find them or pay for them. I will update of they do either. If you use this shop take a picture of the owner or machinist with every item you drop off. A week after leaving this bad review, his rods and pistons were found. I still think it's important to take pics of your item with the person who checks them in. We will not be using this shop again, even though they do great work.

If you need smaller pieces just ask about buying their sheer-drop-offs and ends. That is how I bought some smaller pieces of diamond-plate aluminum. I was very happy.
