I wish there were more than 5 stars--I cannot say enough positive things about Josh Mintz Plumbing!…read moreMy family recently moved into a fixer upper and our contractor installed a tankless water heater in the kitchen closet. When I complained about the excessive heat and smells it produced, he "vented" it using the previous standing tank's exhaust. After nearly a week, we were still having problems so we started looking into it, only to discover he had installed an OUTDOOR unit! I turned to Yelp and found Josh Mintz plumbing, who I called first thing the next morning. Thankfully, he had an opening to come take a look a few hours later. Upon arrival, he IMMEDIATELY realized the danger we were in, and made arrangements to remove the improper unit right then. He and his crew replaced it with a wonderful, quiet, smell-free tankless water heater that same day! I am SO thankful for Josh & his crew--there's no telling what could have happened if the prior one was left in place (carbon monoxide, explosion, fire, etc). Josh is very professional, knows his stuff, and really cares about his clients. He'll be my go-to plumber from now on!

He was at our door in a short time and did an excellent job fixing our problem. I consider us very lucky to find such a competent serviceman on the first try. Fair pricing and very personable. He and his wife run this home town company.

We ended up needing it emptied and brought back and he did that within a day of my request. The dumpster had a large door, on the end, which made filling it much easier. Brandon placed it very close to the front door which saved our tired bodies many steps. I checked around several places and this company had the best price and the quickest delivery on a 20 yard dumpster. I highly recommend River valley Roll off.

I sold about ten homes over the past twelve years, so I had to have termite inspections galore. If…read moreyou can avoid the company here I would. Twice now I was forced in a pinch to use them and they sack on a little extra with the billing claiming to find active termites. They wait till the near closing to drop this and their bill. They offered no proof. They would not send me, the homeowner, the pictures showing live termites and they freaked out the buyers. I had to replace a board that had a little damage, true, but no active termites as I treated the place when I bought it. Gladly would I have worked things out well if they could show me the proof. Ollie ghosted my request in text. I just think its rude and I actually do not see why they have a good review. This happened twice and I would hate for others to go in without knowing that. In the end, no one could find these live termites and a friend in the banking business told me that this happens a lot in the real estate business. All these xs are put where live termites are suppose to be. I believe in termite inspections but this guy would not return my request and just worked the client who, in the end, saw that there were no active termites when we went to all the spots noted, and they bought the house happily.
