When I arrived, I sat for just a few minutes and was greeted by Ari, who was fabulous. She put me at ease right away, because I wasn't sure if I was in the right place for my problem. She assured me I had made the correct call. Ari has a wonderful personality and made me feel comfortable right away. While we were waiting for Dr. Grayem, Sarah popped in to say hello. Sarah took care of me many times in the past year and is a delight. I was very happy to see her. Ari and Sarah were the perfect pair for me to see on Monday. Dr. Grayem came in and was very concerned and tried to help me. When the visit was over Sarah walked me out to the check out and just made me feel so special. What a wonderful experience, when I wasn't feeling well at all! I have never liked going to the dentist, because I have had several terrible experiences. They've typically gone above and beyond, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I've had to reschedule my three kids' cleanings a couple of times due to illness, and this time I left work early and picked my kids up from school early to make our 2:00 PM appointment. My middle daughter was delayed returning from a field trip, so as soon as we got her, we headed straight to the office. I called right away to let them know we'd be about 10 minutes late, and was told there is a strict 10-minute policy. I said I would do my best to make it within that window. We arrived and walked in at exactly 2:10 PM, but were immediately told we'd have to reschedule. I explained the situation and asked if there was any flexibility--even just to have two of my kids seen--but was told no. I understand having policies in place, but it was frustrating that there was zero flexibility, especially when we made every effort to get there and communicated ahead of time. What made it more disappointing is that we've had multiple visits where we've waited 10+ minutes to be seen without issue. It felt like there wasn't the same consideration given in return. After years of being loyal patients, this experience was really disheartening, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I had a routine cavity that Dr Chen work on and ended up underestimating how deep it was from the X-ray. She did a botched filling that I had to go in and get fixed and even after that I experienced terrible pain. I couldn't even chew rice. Dr Kleinova even commented how she packed the filling too much. I couldn't even floss without it getting stuck. One day a piece of my tooth came out and I went to the office and Vincent asked me what I did to make that happen. COME ON! When I saw Dr Chen she said there was no hole in my tooth even though I assured her there was. She said it was excess filling. Then a few weeks later when my pain increased dramatically and I couldn't drink or eat on that side without sharp pain, I emailed Vincent and asked if Dr. K could work on the tooth instead and he suggested another dentist. PLEASE IF YOU'RE READING THIS DR. K, COULD YOU PLEASE TAKE ME THIS ONE TIME? I've been suffering with this for over a year now b/c I'm terrified to walk into another office. I know they fired Dr Chen as they should have since she did such a terrible job on multiple patients. I know Dr. K is a great dentist. The least this office could do is repair Chens work on the traumatized patients.

Made another appt for May 11 2026. Called that morning to confirm the appt and it was confirmed. Drove there for the 5 pm appt. The office was closed no one there. First of all, being a regular patient of theirs I let them know I needed to be seen immediately as there were several daily time slots available online that you cannot book without calling. I was told those are for new patients only, and I would need to wait until the next week to be seen. When I finally got in to my appointment I was told 2 teeth needed extracted, but they would actually take 4 of my FRONT teeth because they couldn't do a bridge on only 2. And had me leave with no antibiotics or resolution besides removing my teeth. This did not sound right to me so I went somewhere else for a second opinion where I was told my teeth are completely FINE. That I would need a deep clean at best and that my gums seemed to already be improving on their own. They also said they hear Aspen Dental horror stories all the time as they are scammers. I am so glad I listened to my gut instinct on this.

Initial staff on the phone and at check in were pleasant and friendly. I met with a hygienist who took the time to explain things to me, how the office ran, what the dentist would do, super helpful and nice. I met the dentist, Dr. Chet Welker. He was super friendly and used humor to put me at ease. I got some x-rays, and color image photos that showed things in a way I hadn't seen before. So cool! The dentist looked at my teeth and all that were of concern to me, explained all in a manner that was helpful. Both of the two I met with made my decision that I would like to continue as a patient. I have a cleaning appointment scheduled and need to call and schedule time for an old cavity repair as well as the difficult job of quitting my old dental office.
