Too bad he choose not to make a longtime customer satisfied with at least an apology and some token compensation. I had passed Washtenaw Auto Wash recently and figured I would roll on by when my car needed some extra TLC. After a long road trip (300+ miles in one morning -- love my little hatchback!) I decided to go the extra mile to Washtenaw and get the grime off my my ride. I passed by several industrial-strength vacuums as I approached the entry to the wash. They're 50 cents apiece, but I'll have to try them on my next go-around as I didn't have change today. I pulled up to the wash and saw -- CASH ONLY. It's written in caps, and I'll do the same so you know to have some greenbacks with you when you come. For just $5 I had two guys make sure to de-bug my front grill and get the tar off of the bottom of my bumpers. I then relaxed while my car whooshed down the conveyor belt and got sudsy and clean. Overall, a great price and a solid wash. The need for cash is a little inconvenient, and I didn't see that this place is open 24/7, but despite the minor inconveniences, I'll be back!
