I have eaten at many bakeries in my 74 years of life but NONE have met the goodness or quality of fresh, homemade baked goods as Muddy Bees. It seems that all the restaurants in the area are using them, too. Their look, taste, and size are very distinctive. Tasty food but when it comes to all their sandwiches you pay by the topping (including the very basics like Mayo and tomatoes) so your perfect sandwich can get quite pricey and they're not that big or amazing. I would go back to try different baked goods. Most of their to-go canned products (honey, jam etc) aren't even from the area or it could make fun souvenirs. That was a missed opportunity. read more

This place is very cute. They have a lot of nice local things for sale. The nice selection of baked sweets and bread. I have yet to get a loaf of bread but it is on my list next time! I love the little kids table with a few books to keep my children happy while I look at all the fun stuff. There is also a beehive inside. So we can watch the bees working hard. While heading to Zion we came across this adorable place and stopped for coffee and bagels. The bagels were fresh and delicious and the coffee was the best we've ever had. It was so good we came back for lunch and the sandwiches we ordered were amazing. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to everyone. read more

We were just staying in town for a few days to see Zion, and I saw this place on yelp. We decided to try it on our last day & it was AWESOME. Our family of 6 each got custom panini's & then we split a huge cinnamon roll, a big piece of peach mango cheesecake, and the eggless cookie dough scoops. Every single item was delicious, every member of our family was fat & happy when we left. Portions were great, great customer service, & prices were reasonable. I would definitely put this on my list of "Must Go" places on any road trip through the area! read more

Muddy Bees catered a professional conference for us a couple weeks ago. Their product was fantastic. Real homemade take and friendly service. There was a misunderstanding about our order and they went way above and beyond to make it better. I'm not a local of Hurricane, but I will make sure to stop in every time I am in the area. Delicious food and treats, and I went in there today looking for face wash. The woman behind the counter went above and beyond to help me. She showed me multiple options and suggested some other things as well not sold in the store. She was personable and showed she cared. The man behind the counter was funny. I left with a lil bottle of raw honey to use in the shower and a cute copper ring. I've only been here once before but I will return and I highly recommend to everyone!!! read more

I am a big fan of Muddy Bees. On my first trip to Zion we stopped here on a whim to get items to take with us for a picnic later in the day. That first day at Zion was a life changer experience and our picnic was delicious. The quality and taste of all of the food from Muddy Bees was extraordinary. The staff are always kind whenever we pass through and stop in and I've even become MORE of a "bee fan" because of this great bakery. My negatives for this place. I looked over their many options and decided on the cinnamon roll. I walked up to the counter in front of the register and waited. The young lady working there didn't appear to be doing anything from the time I walked in to current. She also didn't greet me. She glanced at me and went back to doing (seemingly) nothing. I decided to pull out my wallet to show intent to purchase a product and she glanced over again, and went back to whatever she was doing. From my perspective she was just standing as far away as she could on the left-hand side behind the counter. After a while she came over, asked what I wanted, boxed it quickly, told me the price, and walked away after I paid. I was pretty disappointed with this awful service. My partner, who was in there looking at the local honey during this exchange, told me I shouldn't have purchased anything and just left. In the future we will not be visiting this establishment. The positives. They have several options there from cinnamon rolls to scones, cakes, breads, etc. It smells amazing when you open the door and the establishment appears to be VERY clean. I purchased a cinnamon roll (it was literally as big as a large take out container) and it was quite tasty and had cream cheese frosting. read more

Stopped in at six before heading in to Zion for a day of hiking. Seemed cute enough, but I'm not sure if we just ordered the wrong things or if it just wasn't great. Maybe we missed out on their specialty things... The fresh bread or whatever, I dunno. But I bought tea and my friend got coffee, which she said tasted like hotel coffee. Not what you want from a breakfast place. And the bagel and cream cheese took forever, which was very very annoying...and then didn't even come with the cream cheese on the bagel. And there wasn't nearly enough cream cheese anyway. So that was very disappointing. The redeeming factor was there was an offer on yelp for checking in and getting a free cookie. I got a chocolate chip cookie, which was yummy enough. Her no bake cookie was the greatest though. We ate them after the hike, and they were amazing. The bakery is in the corner of a strip mall behind the JB's Restaurant and Bakery. They have a variety of baked goods and their own honey. The bakery offers lots of varieties of sourdough bread. They have cinnamon buns, cookies, and their own Kolob bars and muddy bars. The Kolob bars are layers of oatmeal, cream cheese and fruit. The muddy bars looked decadent and should satisfy and chocoholic's craving. We had the Kolob bars which were tasty but quite sweet. There are beverages, but only powder creamer for the coffee and only Jasmine tea when we visited. The staff person who we met was friendly and helpful. read more
