We have used Mr. Sparkle for 4 different vehicles; two TRD PRO Tacomas (both black paint), an Audi A5 and most recently a new 430 BMW. Each and every vehicle was done to perfection with paint correction, ceramic coating and most importantly as of recently the SunTek paint protection film. Unfortunately our new BMW was a victim of garage rash. We assumed that this would at least require a repainted bumper or a new one. We brought the car back to Bryan (owner operator of Mr. Sparkle). Bryan worked his magic as he always does with his skill and attention to detail, along with the resilience of SunTek paint protection film, the car was back to better than new. Bryan burnt the paint off the flare on my Tacoma when polishing it and gave me a few options to make it right. Either take $100 off when I came to pickup the truck or send him an estimate to have it fixed. When I sent him the estimate he refused to pay. I brought my 2016 Lincoln MKC to Bryan and he was very thorough in explaining my options. I went with paint correction and a paint protectant. We scheduled a time to bring my vehicle in and he had it ready when promised. When I came to pick it up he had me go over the car with him so he could explain what he did, went over how to take care of the protectant, and even gave me a small bottle of cleaner for the first couple of washes. Bryan at Mr. Sparkle has been detailing our family cars for quite some time. We began using his mobile service for interior/exterior detailing. Having been used to car wash "detailers" who leave wax in all the exterior crevices (i hate that!) I was pleasantly surprised to see how much attention Mr. Sparkle pays to detail...cleaning areas I would never even think to clean....inside my gas cap door...the plastic piece that holds my seatbelt. He also did a great job removing doggy paw prints that had stained my father's passenger seat. I told him I just purchased a German luxury car and wanted to protect it from the get-go and gave him some details. I asked why this was, and his attitude changed - he became condescending and seemed put-off, saying "Where does it say what I'd charge for your car? ", and "You haven't read the fine print", and then proceeded to tell me how he's the best in Long Island, and is booked one month in advance on average. The clincher was him saying "well, people who generally have Mercedes, Audi or BMW are not concerned about budget, but it seems you're on a budget". He then told me I should take my chances with my guy and the 60 dollar version (OptiCOat 2.0) and see how it goes. I have no doubt this guy's work is solid, so I review strictly from an impression of a prospective customer. I had a mini detail done by mr sparkle on 6/8/14 on my 2014 gmc Sierra,the paint was supposed to be clay bared to remove contaminates in the paint Bryan gave me some excuse why he didn't clay the paint and took off $50 I was not happy about it.Had my car washed today 6/16/14 and ran my hand on the paint and all I felt was a ruff surface I feel he did not do right by me. read more
