I asked if we could sit down to eat and he slaps me on the back and says "yes, bambino!" Thus began a fine experience at this lovely Italian restaurant. That guy turns out to be the proprietor and his energetic attitude is only matched by the quality of the food. Fresh ingredients simply prepared with care...that's all you can ask for from any establishment and this place certainly delivers on that. Drink: Order a white port & tonic or a sangria. The sangria is sweet but not terribly so -- great peachy flavor. Service: It's slow. But, when in Portugal, you must expect this. The pace is relaxed and you need to be also. When you want the bill, you need to ask.
