I generally like Greek food, but I must admit that I am a bit picky, as there are only some dishes…read morethat I love and with those I have high expectations. I love tomato-cucumber salad, but sadly they only have a tomato-olive salad. The fried calamari are pretty good though, they're not the regular skinny rings rather big, nice rings of calamari. The tzaziki they have is also great and goes well with the calamari. The gyros I must say I didn't like, the measles my friend had looked nice though. I find the restaurant a bit dark due to the heavy wood furniture and not-so-great lighting. The staff is very nice though and you get a free shot of ouzo before and after the meal :) All in all I think the staff is nice, but the food is just average. The area doesn't have that many good restaurants and I know people that do think that Taverna Santorini is great, but sadly it's for my taste-pallet. So, for the food I and atmosphere I am giving 2, but because the staff was so friendly I decided to add a third star (for now).
