My first thought upon learning about it was "Turkish coffee" and my second thought was "Dubai chocolate". I had to stop by and get my fix of both. They offer an assortment of this delectable chocolate and a wide selection of Turkish coffee. I could only get the instant coffee because I recently broke my coffee machine playing around with spices. But know I know where to get authentic beans in the future. As I strolled the market, I found myself fascinated by all the unique treats, spices, teas, and even an instant Turkish beverage I'm anxious to try on my next visit. They have Turkish candies, and an assortment of pastries and frozen desserts. I definitely want to try the Turkish pizza, which is in the frozen section along with some of the spreads, sauces, and dried fruits I saw. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Raja helped me with lots of things I was curious about and she was super nice. Even the customers who clearly are "regulars" were warm and friendly. Glad to know I have such a cool little market in my neighborhood. I'm big on overall food freshness, so this is why I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place. If the packaged goods were expired on the shelf, not sure how many other products were aged. Can't tell age of spices, tea or anything else like that, so as Mich as I'd love to support small, local grocers...I just wouldn't come back:( Honestly, if they'd just clear their inventory of old things and keep it simple...they'd get customers like me, but I just can't trust a business that is so cheap, it will discount old things rather than get new ones.

I'm always specifically buying specialty items for my smoothies: that I make nearly every single morning. Which include types of spirulina or moringa powder, and cocoa nibs. Also, I prefer making my face masks myself, and buying them in powder form and switching depending on the seasons. And varying skin necessities. All these items I find here, at a great price and I get them exactly when I need them and don't have to wait around for an Amazon order to ship them. And there's something very satisfying about it being sustainable. You weigh your items and place them in ppr bags or your own containers. I absolutely adore being aware of our environmental impact.
