There was really nothing to do around the area but this place made my night, perhaps even my day trip to Stuttgart. I got a small cone - one scoop of the vanilla and another of the hazelnut. I did not expect the ice cream to be soooo good but this has to be one of the best I've ever had in Europe. It was the perfect amount of richness with strong flavors and creaminess. I was not only impressed with the quality of the ice cream (only €2.60) but also the friendliness of the workers. We needed a ride back to our hotel and the older lady volunteered to call a taxi for us. The shop was quiet and had local elders just enjoying their Friday group hangout.. with ice cream, so cute! There isn't a whole lot of seating (inside and outside), but weather permitting, the seats outside are the best. You are in a residential neighborhood, so cars aren't screaming down the streets. I enjoy coming here with my family, picking up a couple of scoops of ice cream and sitting and watching the neighborhood go by. If you are in the neighborhood (say at the Brauhaus wanting to get desert), come by and see for yourself.
