DO NOT SEND YOUR SHOES HERE! My husband was promised my boots resoled and returned in 10 weeks. It has been 12 and no response to any communication. According to other reviews, this is a common issue. Mr Cobbler is either a scam or he is out of business but still taking your shoes and money. read more

Scott, the owner of Mr. Cobbler, is a Grand Junction treasure. These days, he's doing work on shoes and boots very few people even perform. Before I found him to re-Vibram my two pairs of REI purchased Vasque hiking boots, I asked at REI if anyone could resole them. They said they didn't know of anyone doing it in Grand Junction, and if there was someone it would cost more than the original cost of the boots, yet Scott is no more than a mile from their store, and his prices are extremely fair. Lesson learned. Scott was slammed with early Spring repair work, and told me it would be a 6 week turnaround, so I left one pair and in 6 weeks he had them ready, looking better than they had in years. I am stopping in today to pick up the backup pair. A valuable service performed by a nice man at fair prices. Like I said, he's a Grand Junction treasure. read more

Excellent customer service and great work! I just needed my boots stretched, and he did a great job AND polished my boots when he was done. I'll definitely come back here again. read more

Awesome customer service and craftsmanship. Super pleased. Called and asked for an eta before I shipped and boots were done within that window. Even though it was one month before hunting season and he was getting flooded with boots with guys who waited until the last minute...like me. read more

Mr. Cobbler is wonderful. I take my husband boots there to get resoled. he does a great job.

If you need some work done on your shoes - this is the place to go. Reasonable prices and quality work by someone who knows what he is doing. Also - this is the place to go for odd sized shoelaces - and you have a wide choice of materials and styles (cord, flat, leather...). Orthotic-y insoles, things I don't know what they are, but assume they will make your shoe work better. Really, really recommend this. It is a dying art and will allow you to keep your favorite shoes in good condition. This saves you a lot of money and wear & tear on your feet - breaking in new shoes is never fun. And it is in a fun "strip" mall (it is a U shaped mall) with other fun stores and a fun lunch/breakfast place (Outlaw Cafe). read more
