This is after Nancy's reheating instructions. Still soggy. Such a bummer.

Today is my birthday so I thought I'd treat myself to a pie from Mozza. Knowing the quality and pedigree of the past, I ordered a pepperoni pie with full confidence. It arrived literally cold and uncooked in the middle. The dough was still wet. This caused the cheese to slide off completely with the toppings attached. The sauce was cold. Pretty much ruined my birthday dinner. Quality control should be job number 1 when assembling a $30 12" pizza and cook and temperature are paramount. I can't see a situation in when I'll be spending my money there again. I should have just ordered Prince Street or dare I say, even Dominos. At least it would be thoroughly cooked.

Olive oil and oregano dressing; and yes I shook it. It's disgusting.

Wow. Just wow. How this place has gone downhill! I ordered a $25 Nancy's Chopped last night from Uber eats. I paid for two extra dressings, and when it came there were two on the side. I assumed the dressing that came w my salad was buried (in a cup) inside the salad but it was not. But the worst part was the dressing - which contained NO vinegar! Check out my photo. It's olive oil and oregano. It's gross. Nancy should be ashamed her staff doesn't know to shake the dressing before pouring it out, or maybe someone misread the recipe. But either way, the salad totally sucked because the dressing is really usually the star. Ubereats was great about fixing it but this restaurant can't possibly still be managed by the same staff. Did Nancy sell pizzeria mozza?

I had a great experience using their online ordering system and everything went smoothly so no complaints there. Basically, you just place an order online, then arrive at Mozza 2 go, give them your name, and you get your food. My order took about 40 minutes. Exactly what the ordering system estimated. First off, the pizzas are way better fresh at Pizzeria Mozza. However, if you don't got time for that because you're a busy human being, then taking it to-go will still give you an idea about how good the pizzas are. Just know that it will lack a little something something like a crispy crust or creamy melty cheese. I got their meat lovers pizza (fave, and I strongly recommend), the Hawaiian pizza, meatballs, garlic knots, and pane bianco (grill bread with olive oil). Everything was so so so good. I had to reheat the pizzas in the oven but it was so worth getting life back into the crust.

I've been to the Chi Spacca which is basically the same location that used for the takeout. We got two pizzas, meatballs and some treats. Pizzas were great, the dough is nice and chewy even after 20 mins. They are quite small for $22 in my opinion, unless you are getting multiple side dishes, I say 2 people sharing 1 pizza won't be enough food. The meat ball is $14 for three and two piece of bread which is really yummy and I forgot to take a picture, I also got the Italian lemon soda, it's alright... The chocolate chip cookies are good, 3 for $9 and they used Valrhona chocolate and they made sure you know it's the good stuff by putting that on the label(70% valrhona chocolate). I got the soft nougat that's from France , haven't eat it though, I'll report back later :) Overall it's good! I ordered online and the estimate was 45 mins, I show up on time and waited another 5, pretty convenient. Staff lady was nice and helpful just like their Spacca service there are meter parking right outside and it wasn't busy Sunday noon so that was nice~ Would definitely come back here and try some other stuff next time

Review is for the... ALL'ANTICO VINAIO FIRENZE POP UP Florence, Italy's best known sandwich is here in Los Angeles for just 1 week. Tomorrow, Sunday (10/27) is the last day. Hubby and I got in line at around 9:45ish in the morning on Saturday. Doors open at 11 AM. The line got big fast! Once the doors opened we probably took about 35 to 40 minutes till we got to the cashier to order. For the first 150 or so people online you can get two sandwiches per person after that it was one sandwich per person. The sandwiches are BIG (which is great!). All have meat and there is only 1 sandwich you are able to modify for vegetarian (called the LA Summer). Please see pics for menu. Each sandwich is $16 bucks and they accept cash and credit card. It was a fun experience. Pro Tip: I brought a small camping folding chair that weighs about 5 pounds so I could sit while I wait instead of standing for hours.

    Aglio Olio...to go.

I haven't had a chance to eat one of my favorites in a long time (about 3 years) so when I drove by one Friday, I had to stop in for my familiar favorite, the Aglio Olio pizza. Realizing time went by, the price jumped up to $16 from what I used to remember as $11, but this was back in 2016 or so. Still the same size, but still pretty darn good as well. Girls at the counter (not sure who took my call) were both very nice! Considering the price, I will be coming here as a treat, but not as an every week pizza craving.

Nice pizza place. Very testy! Would recommend and will order again! P.s. my dog went crazy of its smell lol

The best pizza crust I've ever had in my life. I got the fennel sausage pizza and wow can you taste the quality and the homemade-ness of the fennel sausage. I could eat that by itself as a snack!!! Every bite that had that sausage was to die for. But any bite without, was lacking flavor and salt. You needed the sausage or else it was a little bland.

Ordered for takeout and the food was ready when I arrived. The sauces and texture of the dough on both pizzas were really good. I really enjoyed the sausage and fennel pizza. The fennel added a nice flavor. I would come back to try other pizzas. Also got the butterscotch budino, but I wouldn't recommend bc it was tiny for 10 bucks and a little too salty.

Just picked up a Margarita Pie to take home and was not disappointed (although is it my imagination or have the pies gotten a bit smaller over the years?) Still, the flavor was there and you can't beat that amazing crust. Online ordering was easy from their website. Only complaint is their limited and somewhat weird toppings. Can't I just add mushrooms and pepperoni to my pie? Nope.

It was definitely worth the Netflix hype! My girlfriend was the one who originally discovered the place. Having watched the Netflix show, she wanted to really go to the Mozzaria. But since we were in the vicinity, I heard the best line that my girl could have ever said, "hey, do you wanna get pizza and watch Game of Thrones?" And that's when I knew. Mozza 2 Go was quite small. It's literally just a shop to get pizza to go and you were offered with a selection of wines, oils, and other delicacies that compliments the pizza well. We ordered the squash pizza and garlic knots. I chose to compliment it with J.Lohr Cabernet and my gosh, it was definitely an explosion of expressive feelings. It was... a Sunday. The squash pizza was tasty. It had the great elements of a pizza, crusty, and the sauce was sweet and just a bit bitter that it complimented the taste. The garlic knots had WHOLE garlic. None of those weak garlic sauces oils, but it was actually garlic, soft, and tasty. It was a Sunday that I'll never forget.

We decided to get out for another COVID-19 takeout adventure, and headed out to Mid-City to get some Mozza2Go. I've been to the parent, Pizzeria Mozza several times and to me it's one of the top high end pizzas in Los Angeles. I was surprised to see the low reviews of the to-go side, but decided to give it a shot. I ordered online, got the email confirmation, and headed over a little early to pick it up. On the way, I got an email telling me to call the restaurant because they had not confirmed the order. I was a little worried, so I called and nobody picked up. I was already in the area so just stopped in, and luckily they had the order. I was early, so I had to wait a while but the pizza came out right on time. So I can see how they've got some improvement opportunities on the service side like other reviews mention. The pizza though did not disappoint. It's just how I remembered it; the Bianca bursted with flavor, the cheese is amazing and you can taste the delicious olive oil. The fennel sausage pizza was also great, the sausage is nice and crumbly and has a rich flavor. So five stars all the way for me!

    What size are the pizzas?

I think they are 12 inches across. A lot to eat for one person, just about right to split with a friend for lunch, esp if you are sharing a salad too.

The pizzas were easy to share, though a bit salty. The pepperoni pizza also had a few overly burnt slices on the bottom. Service was a little confusing. We ordered at the register, had to flag someone down for water, and weren't quite sure if it was self-service or not. I'd suggest looking for street parking along 3rd St. if you can. There's also a parking structure nearby. The first time we came, we ordered a whole pie, half supreme and half BBQ chicken. It also came with ranch that tasted freshly made. The supreme was great. You could taste a little bit of spice from the sausage, and all the other toppings worked really well together. I also really liked the crust. It had a nice crunch to it without being too hard. Came back for a second time and got another whole pie, this time half supreme and half white. The white pizza was good. It had fresh mozzarella, garlic, and seasoning on top, and the crust was just as good as I remembered. I think adding something like mushrooms would make it even better. It is pretty cheesy though, so I could see more than one slice being a little too much for some people. The supreme was just as good as the first time. I'd definitely keep coming back. I think next time I'm going to try one of their square pizzas.

Most of the pizzas available by slice were vegetarian, with only a handful of meat options. I wish they had the meat lovers available by slice. All slices were in the $5-6 range. We got: -Sicilian -Grandma -BBQ chicken -Spicy pepperoni I wasn't expecting much, but surprisingly I really enjoyed the pizza here. The crust was nice and crispy for all the slices. My favorites were the bbq chicken and the Sicilian (because of the pesto), but they were all solid. The regular cheese pie I got, which I assume has the same sauce on it, did not taste salty or odd like the sicilian. Their Monday deal of a XL cheese pie for $15 is a great deal. Now the few not so good things this second time. There is no parking. They have a small alleyway with maybe 6-8 parking spots on the side of the pizzeria. Considering the place was pretty empty when I came midday but the lot was full, I have to assume staff take the spots. No street parking. You're supposed to be able to pull out of the alleyway by going forward and turning into another alleyway that crosses the parking alleyway. Unfortunately, there was a motorcycle someone was working on or just left there so you could not get past the bike and the car parked in the last spot. I had to back out onto the busy main street, which was dangerous. Also annoying is that the menu has zero prices, and it's not like the girl at the counter knows the prices. She had to punch in whatever I asked the price to on her tab in order to give me a price. When I asked how much for toppings added, she couldn't give me a concrete answer. Even more frustrating is that the prices on your bill will not match what you were quoted. I think what they quote is the price plus tax, and then the bill has the real prices and all the tax bundled together at the bottom, so it's near impossible to figure out the cost of each item. Who doesn't have a menu with prices?! I do not like this!
