We would always make a trip around Christmas time to buy gifts for family members. They have great gifts that aren't candle related also. I loved going in and seeing what all they had because it was different every time. I love them and miss visiting the staff and store. I am so sad to hear that it closed. I have for some time now called NYC home, but I love to give these amazing candles as gifts to my friends here. I placed a fairly large order during the holidays, but procrastinated and needed them by a certain date (totally my fault for waiting until the last minute), but these lovely ladies at Keepsake realized I might not get my order as soon as I'd hoped, so they immediately emailed me and then spent at least 30 minutes with me over the phone helping me to pick and choose items they had in stock so I could have them shipped in time. They didn't have to do any of this for me and I really appreciate that they cared enough to not only work with me in order to meet my deadline, but also to deliver a consistently superior product. Best product, best people, and best service hands down. As a side note; bring the kiddos too! They have two adorable and friendly cats to keep them occupied while you shop. My fiancé and I visited a couple years ago with my parents and the owners were even so kind as to give us a tour of the candle making process and even dip our own candles. I believed at the time of purchase, I would be unable to attend the services. The floral arrangement was intended to be a gesture to convey to the family my thoughts were with them and sorrow at being unable to attend. I was able to attend, and was so mortified at what was received by the family as my before mentioned intended gesture. I am not someone who thinks the finished product has to/will translate exactly from the picture provided. I have purchased arrangements four previous times, in similar circumstances and have never had this experience. Not even something close. I believe that several factors could have contributed to my experience, flowers having to be substituted or the vase perhaps. This was a blatent disregard for what was ordered. The arrangement had a completely different vase, except for the color and had approximately ten blooms, that was including the greenery. This was a dismal display of workmanship, I feel my gesture would have been better received if I had arrived, roadside bouquet in hand. I am to embarrassed to offer my apologies to the family. That these were not my feelings in regards to their loved one. I'm leaving this review in hopes of preventing this from being someone else's experience. Your business cannot fix a problem if they were unaware there was problem.

Not only is his very charming log cabin open for viewing but you also have everything from an animal kid petting zoo to his airplanes and guns on display while giant bears etc are throughout the museum part as well. They put on a kids fest event every year in late June. They bring in vendors and put up inflatables , face painting, pony rides, foam parties , make your own necklaces etc. all of this is free and no extra fee just regular admission cost. You can get everything from magnets, giant Mexican blankets, metal sculptures, big foot everything, Mexican vanilla, spices, garden gnomes. The staff is so nice. Definitely check this place out.
