The painting classes are informative and fun and suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. I had no idea until I made the returns that Hobby Lobby doesn't put an item number on their receipts. My fiance, a clerk, a store manager, and myself had to search my huge pile of receipts trying to find which item went with what receipt. It was very stressful with people lined up behind us. What an archaic process. Over the last two years I have turned in four rain checks and Hobby Lobby always says they will call when the item will come in. Guess what, they never call me. I always wait past the date (they say it would arrive when I turned in my rain check) to call them and inquire about the status. They say, "Yes, we received it." I'm thinking, "Why didn't you call like you said you would?" One of the rain checks I turned in was misplaced but I was later told it was in the back order pile. How is that misplaced and why wouldn't you check the back order pile when I inquire? Then another rain check I submitted was a large, large order and when I called the day they said it would arrive, I was told all the items were in. So I drove to the store and when I got there, they said they couldn't find some of the items. I said, "How do you loose things in less than an hour?" A little over an hour after leaving the store, they call me and tell me they found the missing items. It's sad, this used to be my favorite store and I dread buying things there now. Hobby Lobby is my last resort now and not the first store I'll go to. It's definitely not my favorite store anymore. My daughter has disliked Hobby Lobby for years and I am now disliking it too. Ugh.

We would always make a trip around Christmas time to buy gifts for family members. They have great gifts that aren't candle related also. I loved going in and seeing what all they had because it was different every time. I love them and miss visiting the staff and store. I am so sad to hear that it closed. I wish that they still sold online or on etsy.

I have for some time now called NYC home, but I love to give these amazing candles as gifts to my friends here. I placed a fairly large order during the holidays, but procrastinated and needed them by a certain date (totally my fault for waiting until the last minute), but these lovely ladies at Keepsake realized I might not get my order as soon as I'd hoped, so they immediately emailed me and then spent at least 30 minutes with me over the phone helping me to pick and choose items they had in stock so I could have them shipped in time. They didn't have to do any of this for me and I really appreciate that they cared enough to not only work with me in order to meet my deadline, but also to deliver a consistently superior product. Best product, best people, and best service hands down. As a side note; bring the kiddos too! They have two adorable and friendly cats to keep them occupied while you shop. My fiancé and I visited a couple years ago with my parents and the owners were even so kind as to give us a tour of the candle making process and even dip our own candles.
