They were super easy to deal with, answered all of our questions, and were very knowledgeable about what they were providing. The price was fair, and the communication was honestly one of the best parts. They kept us updated, were punctual, and worked with us to make sure everything was done the way we needed it. It's nice to find a local company that actually cares about taking care of their customers and doesn't make you chase them down or wonder when they're going to show up. If you're local and looking for firewood or tree service, I'd definitely recommend giving R&K a call. We're very happy with what we got and will absolutely be using them again. Great people, great service, and a fair price!

They constantly had excuses for why they didn't come out as much as they agreed to. They upcharged me saying they would do turn maintenance (take care of weeds) and they did not. The final straw was that their weed eating damaged my siding. When I called to ask what they were going to do to fix it they never called back. I complained to the BBB; the companies response was that the damage was there prior to me starting with their company. I have pictures to prove that it was not. They clearly do not take responsibility for their actions and provide a subpar product.

Thank you Justin and crew for timely response. You gave me one less thing to worry about. Communication was timely and the transaction was seamless. I HIGHLY recommend Mike's Tree Service!…read more We had to get a couple of very tall trees removed from our backyard without damaging anybody's home. Mike came out the same day I called to do the estimate, gave me a very good price, and then the crew was out to remove the trees within a couple of days. They were a GREAT team, very skilled! They maneuvered a large bucket truck through the yard and between trees, a porch, and fences, as easily as putting a small car into a parking space! Each member knew what needed to be done and work proceeded quickly with hand signals and minimal conversation. Safety is important to them as could be seen by the careful way the upper parts of the trees were removed, making sure pieces were small and fell into the correct yard and away from anything that could be damaged. When the trees were down, the clean-up was surprisingly good, even on the street where the logs had been loaded into the dump truck.
