We had a weekly service set up with mow managers. I work from home and during one of our first services I was unable to hear them working in the front yard from my office and therefore my dogs still had access to the backyard. They skipped doing my backyard. I called and they did a redo and said there would be a note on my account to ring the doorbell before starting to prevent this from being an issue. They rang the doorbell the following week. However, the next two mows, they did not ring the doorbell, but I did notice them mowing the front yard and I brought in the dogs immediately. Regardless, the back yard was skipped both times and I was told I would have to pay a trip fee for a redo. The customer service was absolutely terrible and I would not recommend whatsoever. read more

(8/26/2025) We needed some serious work done on the planting beds and bushes in our front yard, but I was hesitant to outsource the work due to the anticipated high cost and the disappointing results we had experienced with various landscape maintenance crews in the past; nevertheless, we tried Mow Managers Oklahoma City because they have been taking care of our mowing needs for several years and have always done a good job for us. Today, the Bush & Bed (B&B) crew finished the job, and (1) the results were fantastic, and (2) the final cost was far, far less than we expected. You get what you pay for - and it isn't good. There are always long strips that don't get mowed. It always looked like they mow in the dark and can't tell what areas have been mowed. The last straw was when they blew the grass clippings into the mulch and the mulch was blown into the grass. Choose to pay a little more - it will be worth it. read more

I've been using Mow Managers for about 3-4 years now for a basic mowing service. The service itself it's great. No contact. The mowers are in and out without issue. However, their billing and management practices are sketchy. They will make changes to your account to move to a more frequent service without getting consent from their clients. They will make two points of contact and if you don't answer they will change your account. If this is something you don't mind then this will be a great service provider for you. But if you are one to strictly abide by a budget and any changes can make a negative impact then do NOT use Mow Managers!! This is the 3rd summer in a row I've found that my account has been changed without my direct consent. After speaking with their management, it was confirmed that it is their business practice to make these account changes without direct consent from their clients unless the client specifically responds or contacts them not to make the changes. We gave explicit instructions to Mow Managers only to cut grass, and not to cut the plants in the flower bed, which is clearly marked and separate from the rest of the yard. Twice in a row they weedwacked the herbs we were trying to grow. We will not be using this company in the future. read more

I used them for half the season last year. The very first time they came to mow, they ran over all of the flowers in my front yard. I didn't complain, because I knew the flowers were in a stupid spot (I didn't plant them, the previous owners did) but I was still disgusted they didn't even try to go around them. Then I called during a drought-y part of the year and I asked if we could switch to every 3 weeks, they agreed to that, said it was no problem at all. Later that day someone showed up in my backyard taking pictures. He said he was with the mowing company, which I did call and confirm, they said it was routine. But they NEVER told me anyone would be coming to do that. My 90 lb dog could've been outside, and that would have been bad for everyone. I called and cancelled my service after that. They still charged me one more time, and I had to call and tell them they needed to fix it. read more

Crap. Just, crap from beginning to end. No customer service, no attention to detail, sloppy. Not only do they do crap work, they are NOT BBB accredited, having several complaints at locations nation-wide. They claim customer service by picking up the phone each time someone calls, but they open 10-15 minutes late every morning and go home early every night, and not having an email or voice mail just means they don't have to listen to complaints. The moral of the story is never trust a company that does mass-market mailings, it usually means they have no successful reputation. Last year, for health reasons, had to hire Mow Managers to take care of my yard, front & back, on a weekly basis. Can honestly say, I have not been disappointed at all. Yesterday I hired them to come out and clear the flower beds around my house and to trim back some grasses that were still yellowed out from winter -- it was a big job. But, I was quite pleased -- they did amazing work -- much better than I could have done. Plus, the price was right. Mow managers charges $100 p/hr for a 2-man team, and it took them 1 hour and 45 mins. I'm bummed to see all of the negative reviews here on yelp. It's hard to beat the price for their work. I have been with Mow Manager for 2 years now doing a bi-weekly mowing. 2 Weeks ago when they mowed they did a terrible job. I called and complained for the first time letting them know that the lawn was not mowed in many places. The mower was just here and contacted the office. The office called me and said the crew told them the grass was to high and I needed to start having it done every week or they would no longer do it. I informed them there was no crew only one guy and he was done with the front and back in 15 minutes. Needless to say they will not be working for me again. read more

They have done a terrible job on my yard! I have called numerous times and they always say they will "make a note on my account" It has only gotten worse. I used them in 2016 and they were fine but these last 6 months or so it's been awful. They don't or wont trim. Mow with 2 mowers set at different heights. Miss spots mowing. Leave gates open EVERY time! They don't even do what they say on their website is the services they provide. I am always told the Manager will call, never has... My yard is in no way difficult, and is far from a manicured lawn, I don't expect much. I have always done the yard myself until I went on chemo. This is the first year i have used Mow Managers, and after their first visit i was shocked that they didn't back the clippings but I went with it and consulted a professional landscaper. He told me if its mowed regularly that it is very good for the lawn. and it's a personal thing. If you have kids playing on it or something then yes probably should bag it.. Don't do it!! Sloppy! Also, they were supposed to mow a raised area which was included in the square footage of the quote, but only mowed it once and only after I called to let them know that it wasn't mowed. The crew had to come back 2 days later to take care of the area. Then a new crew showed up a few mows later and, despite 2 additional calls, it's never been mowed since that first mow. Now an unwanted tree grows in the middle of the area and I'm having to pay extra to get it taken care of. The reviews regarding the customer service availability are all correct!! They're not easy to contact and when I called to cancel I had to take it on very shaky faith that my account is "manually cancelled and card info backed out." I used them during the 2015 mowing season with no problems. However, I cancelled my contract today because they tore up my yard for the second time this season with yesterday's mow. It seems thier crew does not practice common sense when servicing yards on a rainy day after the area recieved nightly down pours in the few days before the mow was scheduled. When I called and spoke with Joseph at Mow Managers, he could have cared less and said it was up to me to cancel the service on a rainy day. DO NOT USE MOW MANAGERS, LLC. (they are also not BBB accredited) We used Mow Managers, LLC for a little over a year. They know we have a dog and it has never been a problem to have our dog in the backyard. They came to mow our yard yesterday. I arrived home and my dog was missing from my yard but my gate was shut! I immediately put my TWO year old daughter in the car to try to find her. Luckily a kind neighbor found her swimming in the pond, but she was covered in fleas and ticks from the pond after being let out! She took my dog to the vet to find out if she was chipped so she could contact the owner. She paid $211 to fix everything that was wrong with my dog after they so carelessly let her out of my yard! After I picked her up my other neighbor came running after my car telling me he had VIDEO evidence of them chasing my dog around the street with weed eaters and leaf blowers all while laughing while doing it! He has video of one of the guys attempting to ring our doorbell even though we were at work. Shortly after he has video of them slamming my gate shut and jumping in the car & speeding away! We never received a phone call, a note or anything stating that our dog had gotten loose! Things could have been a lot worse for her had my neighbor not found her in the pond! We called Mow Manangers, LLC and my husband spoke with the general manager, he told us he would NOT pay back the vet bill that my neighbor paid for after they let me dog go! We have used Mow Managers for years and have never been anything but pleased with their services! They will come out and rake, edge, or whatever during the winter as well if you call them. They automatically start services come April or May unless you would prefer it otherwise. They put you on a set schedule, and that's the day they come out. Guaranteed! They're fast, and do an awesome job! Mow, edge, weed eat. They even blow the clippings off your porch and driveway. Very reliable! So much so that I forget about my lawn altogether! I have been a good customer for over 4 years with no issues. Now there are issues all the time. If the crew does not show up, I have 24 hours to call them and let them know. Otherwise, if I am on the schedule, they will charge my credit card. Why is it my responsibility to babysit their crew? Also, this means I must go online or call my credit card company after every visit or every non-visit of the crew to see if they charged me. If I wait until I see my credit card statement, it is too late, as I only have 24 hours to report. Are you kidding me? Most of the customer service reps just repeat the 24 hour stipulation over and over again, and if they do research, they ask the crew and that's as far as it goes. I did not agree to the 24 hour rule when I signed up, nor was I told about it, and it does not appear in their paperwork. What a ridiculous way to run a company. I might as well run my own crew. Or, I will just catch one of their workers, as they often do work "on the side" without letting the company know. We used Mow Managers for 9 mows. They called me complaining that my grass was too high to be mowed every 2 weeks and I let them do it once a week for 2 mows. After the grass was mowed this past week (Monday), it was still taller than the neighbors. They have not done any weed eating on the west side of our house in weeks. I told them I wanted to go back to the 2 week schedule the representative that called me argued that we were going to have 4 days of rain this past week and that we needed to stay on the weekly schedule. We had a few drops of rain last night (Friday) After securing another lawn service I called to cancel our service with Mow Managers. What has happened to the customer driven business. I had used Mow Managers 3 weeks ago and the guy that came out did a great job. This time 2 guys came out. They didn't speak much English but were really nice. I asked them if they liked their work and they said No. Then I found out why. These guys didn't mulch nor bag. They didn't trim for the most part and what they did trim was a mess. When I called to complain Mow Managers asked me to send pictures (which I did). Peggy said that it had rained and the lawn was longer than usual so that's why they didn't mulch nor bag and why it looked so bad. Really? That didn't make sense. She said they were having trouble keeping "help" (her word) but again told me it rained so it was my problem that clippings weren't bagged nor a mulcher used. And that didn't make sense. They had already bumped me from $35 per mow to $40 because they misfigured my property size. Now Peggy said that I had to be mowed EVERY week and I had no choice in the matter. Needing to pay someone to mow is a hardship at $70 a month but forcing me to pay $160 a month is beyond hardship. When I mentioned that I was on a fixed income ($841 a month) it didn't matter because it rained, Peggy said. I wish I could post pictures here. I'm appalled at the way Peggy spoke to me. I'm appalled at the misquotes on pricing. I'm horribly appalled at the quality of workmanship. read more
