Before starting any transaction, we asked (me and my girlfriend, who is a native Spanish speaker, so there was no communication error) before starting ANY transaction or making any deal whatsoever, that if they were not able to fix the phone, we would not be charged, and they confirmed it.
We left the phone with them and 2 days later got an email saying that it would be 11,500 pesos, or about $300 USD to fix it, which is about the same price of the phone, so I decided to not have it fixed by them. I went to pick it up, and then they said that I owed them 700 pesos (~$20 USD) to pick it up because they ran "diagnostics", which surely meant just googling the issue like I did before I took it into the store.
In summary, they lied to us about the price on if it could or could not be fixed, and I had to pay their fine to pick up my useless brick and waste my time. Do not use this store.
