We stopped by in the midafternoon and were not surprised to find it busy, with a line out front. Fortunately, the wait was only about 15 minutes, and we were seated at a table in the back. We tried just about everything on the menu, and honestly, every dish was excellent. The food was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had, and the restaurant completely lives up to the hype. One of the highlights was the dish served with bone marrow. We spread it over the tacos, and it added an incredible richness and depth of flavor. My favorite was the trompo taco, made with shaved pork from the spit. It was flavorful, juicy, and easily one of the best tacos I had during the trip. The sauces were also fantastic. There were several different varieties of hot sauce, each with its own flavor and level of heat, and I enjoyed trying all of them. The atmosphere is casual and lively, and the line moves quickly. If you are visiting Mexico City and love tacos, Tacos Del Valle is absolutely worth a visit. The food is outstanding, and I would gladly go back.

I was recommended the bone marrow and I also got Gaonera de Filete taco. I was a bit confused by the menu, but the waiter was very patient with explaining the different option, and recommended a selection for me. Everything was very flavorful. I don't know if it was the best taco I've ever had, but I think it's a really solid option.

A lovely lady right away takes your order and heats up your pastry right there and then. She serves both sweet and savory pastries. I had the 'tinga' and 'chorizo'. I did not have high expectation but oh, surprise! These are proper pastries! Out they came my two fluffy 'pastis' generously stuffed. You can see the layers as you work through it.
