My husband and I have stored our RV here for six years and I've never had a problem recently we…read morepicked up our RV and the catalytic converter had been stolen. We later found out our vehicle wasn't the only one with the catalytic converter cut off. When we talked to the managers we were told we were parked in a blind spot and the cameras didn't see anything. We asked the management if they would give us any kind of discount for the fact we had to replace the catalytic converter they told us no. We are now looking for a new storage place, good luck there. The new catalytic converters cost over$2500.

This team claimed in writing to the Attorney General's office via my AG complaint that while I had…read moreleased a unit I was belligerent and confrontational and I had to be asked to leave their office on a few occasions. That is an OUTRIGHT LIE. "I" terminated the lease after hurricane season. If a tenant had a few very negative altercations with staff their lease would normally be terminated. Where is the video and electronic DATED documentation of these supposed incidents?! I was ALWAYS friendly with their team and I had MANY personal conversations with Cheryl. After I terminated the lease I would stop by the office to talk to Cheryl or call her to say "HI". I used to love up the dog she sometimes brought with her. District manager Charvon Beetles (sp.) ONLY cares about contracts. What about HONESTY, VIDEOS, LACK OF COPIES OF MOTORCYCLE INSURANCE CARDS, LACK OF COPIES OF MY REGISTRATION, FACTS & PEOPLE? She stated that she didn't know what I stored in my unit? Cheryl SAW ME riding my bike every single week from the facility. She even commented on it relative to my cancer fight. IS IT A COINCIDENCE THAT MY YAMAHA MT-03 COST VERY CLOSE TO $5,000 AND THE INSURANCE I "HAD" TO CHOOSE WAS ALSO $5,000?! (1) Review the video on my move out. You will see that I ONLY moved out a motorcycle. Managers Maria & Cheryl knew from day one that I was ONLY storing my motorcycle. (2) If Planet storage management SUPPOSEDLY informed me that I could use my OWN insurance to cover my bike then why didn't they make a copy of my insurance cards & registration? Can you show me the copies? Southern storage asked me for my registration & insurance cards even before I moved into my unit. UNLIKE Planet storage they informed me that I could use my own insurance to cover my bike. (3) Maria admitted to me in a phone call that she indeed knew that I was storing ONLY my bike. Maria is very nice until you leave the facility & inquire about monies they might owe you. A complete personality transformation. I called her 3 times relative to the case outlined herein. The first time she had a customer in front of her & I told her that her team might owe me monies. She said that she was very busy and I heard a "grunt"-"sigh" telling me that this was something she did not want to deal with whatsoever. The next time I called she said that she was getting ready for an auction & she didn't have time to address this situation. We got into an argument & "yes" I kept talking over her, because she refused to listen to my point. It was a strong & valid point. The last time I called her it was after hours. She was instantly extremely difficult. I have called her a few times before (after hours) & it was NOT an emergency. In fact the calls were WELCOME. These were calls about other tenants blocking indoor aisle ways or driving aisles. This time I had no lease with them & I was looking for monies they owed me so NOW it was a REAL problem. The issue? I stored my motorcycle for 6 months last year & I was charged to insure it. I didn't know that my own motorcycle insurance would cover my property if that was all I was storing in the unit. I found this out from another storage facility a few months ago where I am now storing my bike. I mentioned this to Maria and she said "well you checked the box that required additional insurance for $5000". I told her that their team indeed knew that all I was storing was a motorcycle. She said "no, we didn't know that". She stated this 3 times during our phone conversation. We picked out a unit solely based upon my motorcycle dimensions. She finally admitted that they DID know that all I was storing was a motorcycle. Why lie the first few times? She then said "we didn't know until "RECENTLY" that your own insurance would cover your motorcycle". This is their team's fault. Their team finally offered me a refund for the insurance, but only if I accepted two contingencies. I decided NOT to accept the money or accept the contingencies, because of the GROSS BLATANT LIES as outlined in the beginning of this review.
