This is the cheapest gas from Exeter to Porterville, however, the gas price is a bit dishonest. The…read moresign outside claims that CASH and DEBIT are the same price, with CREDIT being 10 cents more per gallon, but the owner charges the same price regardless of whether customers use a DEBIT or CREDIT card. When confronted about this false advertising, the owner said, "none of my other customers mind paying more for debit..." As a result, this place gets three stars. They have a lot of customers coming and going and lots of options from hot food to cold drinks and prices are otherwise fair for a convenience store. They also cash checks. The gas pumps are newer and they offer squeegees to clean your windows while pumping, but be careful, the squeegees are often broken, missing the rubber part and can scratch your car windows (learned the hard way). I rarely stop here after speaking with the owner; only if I'm low on gas and only if I'm carrying cash, as I tend to vote with my money and support local businesses run by honest people.

There was a man in the stall and asked if I can Hand him some paper towels because the toilet paper was out. Well the paper towels were also out. So I asked the cashier if he can bring the man some toilet paper. He refused! He said he did not want to go in there. I told him to give me the paper and I will go in and bring it to the man. He refused to give me any toilet paper for him! He said "he has to come out sometime" I was outraged and told him how can he just leave the man in there and not be able to wipe! I regret not being able to help him more. I had no paper and couldn't even buy any :( What poor customer service! Very disgusted by this experience.
