But cabin #1 is wonderful for less than 100 a night. The view is blocked by trees but we are very much secluded in town. The staff is wonderful. Just had a quick tour of Helen late yesterday so cute and friendly.

I used Chrissy at Premier Properties Management to rent a vacation home in Murphy,NC. I arrived at…read morenight to pick up my key to the house from the company, and it was dark. She didn't leave any of the lights on for me to be able to find the property (there is one small sign almost impossible to see at night). It was raining heavily, so it took us about 30 minutes to find the business. When I finally arrived, found the lock box to the property and put the code in, there was no key in the box. Another 20 minutes later and she finally responded to my texts, saying she forgot to put the key in the lock box. She showed up 10 minutes later, and when we discussed it she promised me she would take some money off the rental. I just receive my $200 deposit back, and she didn't take any money off the rental as promised. Poor business, I would not recommend using her.

When I started looking into getting a storage shed, I called Tarheel Buildings. The man I spoke to…read morewas very nice and answered all my questions. Around that time I went to West End Buildings to get an idea of their pricing to compare. I was in a plain house dress and getting prices for a project in a few months. This young fellow, tall with dark hair had his nose stuck in the air from the moment I walked in. He only showed me the brochure of one model roughly 8'x10' metal shed for about $2,200. He didn't try to find out what I wanted it for. What size I might need. What the location was like where I would be putting it. Nothing. I had to use the facilities, when I came back out, the office lady said he went out to talk to a customer and he'd be back. He never came back after I had waited about 10 minutes or so. I decided to leave. When I left, he was just talking to an older man, not looking through sheds. A few months later I went to Tarheel Buildings. They were awesome. The lady there took her time. Asked relevant questions, showed me different options. It was a few days before April 1, 2022 and she let me know that a price increase was coming. So I could save money if I bought by the end of March. She walked me through different options and sizes. I ended up buying a $6,800 12'x16' wooden Smart Shed from them. Yes, I was wearing a plain old house dress when I went there in person too. It didn't matter. I was treated kindly and with respect. The fellow who delivered, didn't get it set up to my satisfaction and it didn't appear safe or level. I had asked him about turning it a different direction, he said he couldn't do that. After that I called, spoke to the owner, he and two other fellows came back and got it set up safely and to my satisfaction turning it a different way.
