Stay far away from Coleman Custom Homes if you are thinking of hiring them for a home remodel. We…read moreused him during 2019 and he was mercurial to deal with and used very sub-par sub contractors that he had no control over. His tile contractor, Adrian Molina ruined our $18,000 marble tile in the master bathroom by not doing the work himself and sub-contracing it out to a contractor who complained the whole time and never showed up to work. Alex refused to address the punchlist items until he was paid in full which left you with no where to go to get him and/or his subs to do the work. He hired PSI to do our HVAC system and they screwed it up royally. We told him we discovered a problem during the home inspection and this was our top priority to get fixed. While the walls and ceilings were open, they did not check the heating and cooling to each room as we had asked. They put it all back together again, and we had no heat or cooling in two bedrooms on the lower level. We discovered this during the middle of the winter. He never completed the punch list. We had to hire our own contractors to finish his work which he had been paid for. Alex also tends to use a designer by the name of Victoria Jones with Studio James. She has no concept of working within a budget and didn't think a price to replace can lighting of $60,000 for just the main level of the house was too expensive. She also had bad ides on how to layout the kitchen and wanted to install the island facing a fireplace instead of out to the view.
