I am so surprised that no one has reviewed this discounted mecca prior to me! This place is simply…read moreamazing. It is basically like "Marshalls" on a smaller scale, and not as prissy. You know- they get shipments of stuff that other stores gave up on, and they sell the stuff at discounted prices. I believe that the trucks come on Mondays, and everything is on the floor by Wednesday. The peeps who work there are friendly and very helpful. They have a seniors' program and also a program for "Fridayers"...if you shop on Friday, you get a discount. Plus, you also rack up points and I now have a $5.00 off coupon, which equals joy. They do have a bathroom that is wheelchair accessible. Here are some of my best finds: -"New Balance" sneaks at just a bit over $20.00 -"Harajuku MinI" from Target -"Waverly" queen quilt for just $20.00 -Fancy, sequined "Old Navy" shirt for $6.00 -"Playmobil" figs for $1.99 each -"Blythe" doll address book for $2.00 (still there) -"1928" earrings for like $1.63 -"Yankee Candles" -"Dockers" in distinguished shades Just a heads-up: Examine items for defects. Clothes with defects is not such a biggie, but a wooden spoon that is crappy is a biggie to me. "Burke's" does accept returns, even if you opened/released the item. (That wooden spoon is history.) However, deeply discounted items (70% to 95%), cannot be returned. Heads up: the manager is slightly tough. She is probably fed up with irrational people. However, if you see broken glass on the floor, tell her. I told other employees three times, but I never witnessed anyone say "So-and-so, go sweep that up", or witnessed anyone sweep it up. I am big on avoiding danger, as I have seen many strange things in my lifetime. Go, and mention me so I can get more discounts.

Tanger Outlets Commerce - Where Reviewers Are Many, But Enforcement Is... Selective…read more As someone who reviews shopping centers often--on both Yelp and Google--I've come to expect a certain level of consistency, especially from a well-established outlet brand like Tanger. Usually, sharing photos and feedback is welcomed. Encouraged, even. At Tanger Locust Grove, I posted a review with photos and was personally thanked by the owner. But at Tanger Commerce, I discovered something quite different. While taking a few standard photos during my visit (like I've done at dozens of malls - some with almost 100k views), I was approached by a security guard, followed from across the complex from Nike to Marshall's, photographed, and informed that photography is prohibited unless I had a press or media pass. When I identified myself as a reviewer, hoping for some clarity or even conversation, I was met with suspicion and stone-faced enforcement. My boss makes me enforce this rule I was told - leaving me wondering who his boss is, as from the owners replies to other posts it clearly isn't them. Here's where it really gets confusing: a multitude of other reviewers--on both Yelp and Google--have uploaded photos of storefronts, interiors, signage, merchandise, and even selfies at this very location. Entire photo carousels exist, ranging from fashion displays to food court visits, without a whisper of consequence. One reviewer even uploaded 14 photos on Google and was publicly thanked by management for their "great review" and "wonderful experience." only a month ago. So I ask: if photos are truly not allowed here, why is enforcement only aimed at some of us? Why the inconsistency? And more importantly--where are the signs? None were visible. No policy posted. Just a sudden switch from shopping to being surveilled. Reviewers, take note: If you're documenting your experience, know that Commerce enforces its "rules" selectively. You may be ignored like the 50 reviewers before you--or you may get followed, photographed, and reminded you're not welcome to record your visit. P.S. - I'm not being paid for my reviews, nor do I have anything to gain from this. I just enjoy helping people find great places to spend their time and hard-earned money. But this place? This wasn't it and recommend it I do not.

Wow!!! What a wonderful place to shop…read more I'm not a shopper. I don't like to shop. I'm all about my "stick and move capers". Pop in and get what I need, then I'm out the door and on my way to my next stop. This shopping set up affords me exactly that... I can see all of the stores from the parking lot, find the ones I want to go, and avoid the ones I don't want to go to; I can go directly to those stores shop to get what I got to get and leave. Ample parking lots. Lots of discounts within the various stores... you talk about making a deal sweeter. Like that the stores observe the social distancing mandate. And the requirement to wear a mask is in full order on all of the stores that I went into. #duringthepandemic

Disney, Victoria Secrets, Lululemon, Clarks and the list goes on. The parking lot was full during our visit, but stores did not seem crowded. The mall is laid out in small strip mall segments so you have to cross a lot of traffic to work your way from store to store. It's difficult to move the car around because the lots are full. I was glad I had my "driver". The mall is clean with a Southern vibe. I saw one restaurant. I did not see mall maps to help me locate stores. Prices were pretty good in the stores that I entered. I bought a few things that I wasn't expecting to purchase.
