We've been using Steve for our insurance needs for many years, and find consistently that he, Kimberly, Julie and the rest of the team go above and beyond. They work super-hard to be sure we have the right coverage at the right prices. We have a fairly complicated insurance portfolio that includes multiple rentals and fix-up projects, and they are always looking out for us with constructive advice that's based on their expertise -- this is an invaluable service for those of us not fluent with insurance-speak. We've used myriad agents and agencies, but have migrated just about everything over to them because they are so helpful and knowledgeable. As insurance brokers, they have the ability to "shop" for insurers and find us the best value without skimping on the coverage. We've had to file claims, and can say that we have not been disappointed with any of the carriers they've set us up with. I highly recommend using them for all your insurance needs. read more

I was somehow lucky enough to find Mtn Insurance several years ago (referred by a friend), since which time both Steve Longenecker & Kimberly Knott have provided phenomenal and very personable service for my home coverage. They have always found me better & less costly coverage than anyone else has offered, and they've made it their job to know me well so they can anticipate my needs. They are uncommonly decent & friendly -- they don't take me, or, I assume, any of their clients, for granted. To cop a line from one of their competitors, You're In Great Hands With Mountain. read more

Steve Longenecker and his team at DC Insurers are always on top of things. I have multiple properties and I run everything through them. They are always prompt in their response times, give me great prices and keep me informed of market changes such as when most companies changed from doing roofing replacement due to damage vs. depreciated value. They then moved me into products that would still do replacement cost. I have referred them to many of my customers and they have also decided to move their business to them. Love them! read more

I called Kimberly and asked her if they would take us back and they did. We will remain loyal to them because of their loyalty and excellent service to their customers. If you are shopping around for insurance, be sure to compare apples to apples. read more
