Staff is friendly and nice. There was a slight issue with our room because of the customer who previously stayed here not because of anything the staff did. They handled it well and were apologetic when it wasn't their fault. Bed comfortability is what you would expect, there is a mini fridge in the room as well which nice. They don't seem to enforce the mask rule here with guests which has me concerned for how well the rooms and surfaces are being cleaned. The walls are paper thin, could hear the water very loud and clear when someone decided to take a shower after midnight. I'm used to places having fluffy pillows, not the case here, the pillows are very thin and flat and not comfortable. I recommend using three or just bringing your own. read more

Yeah, it's okay. The place kind of looks closed when you drive up and it's not as "bright" as their photos may lead you to believe. I checked in and out on a musty day- so that's how it smelled and felt inside. Very moist and musty. Not sure if that's a regular thing, or just because of the weather. It's pretty okay for the money. Relatively comfortable bed, and clean. The towels could use a bleach wash to brighten them back up and I think they should run the fan on the A/C unit even in vacant rooms just to keep air circulating. I docked a star because there were no shampoo/conditioner toiletries provided. I didn't need them but thought it was strange they weren't provided. Also no hair dryer, iron, or ironing board. You can tell they've upgraded flooring and paint and that's nice. Would probably be a great place to stay if you had a pet - there's grass around and bags/trash cans provided to clean up after your pooch. Nice, easy parking and space for those of you who have trailers or large trucks. Friendly staff. read more

Had to stop here because the roads were getting horrible. The guy at the desk was super nice. The rooms are super clean. I stayed at a motel six In good land Kansas two nights ago and it was a dump. It didn't even have hot water to take a shower. This room has a flat screen tv a microwave a mini fridge and an awesome mattress!!! Yes please I love it!!! read more

Are you looking for clean, safe, comfortable accommodations that are right off I-70? If so, This place is for you. My husband and I stopped here on our way from Denver to Pennsylvania at about 3 am. The front desk person was friendly, the room was clean and well lit, the water was hot. It was a great place to have a restful night before another long day of driving. We had such a pleasant stay even if it was only for a few hours we stopped there again on the return trip, and plan to stop there again on our next cross country trip. read more

This place was great. My daughter and I travel a lot and we stay at all different types of hotels. This Motel 6 was as comfortable as staying at the Hilton. The room was large and very clean. The staff was friendly. The price was good. If I ever come back to this area, I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wish was there was a bit more water pressure in the shower. Only about 40 minutes to Indianapolis. I would recommend this place! read more

On or about Nov 14th I called this hotel to confirm a reservation made a month earlier. I spelled out my name and was told that there was no reservation in my name for the 15th for 2 nights. In fact they explained that they were in fact full , but that they would call me if something came open, at a much higher price than I had originally booked for. Since I had no email confirmation I assumed that I had made an error in the process. On Monday the 19th, I saw that I had a charge of $72.91 which was the equivalent of 1 night. I called the hotel and was told that it was a no show fee. I asked to speak to the owner to dispute the charge since they told me that I had no reservation . I've called many times since and I'm never able to connect with the owner/manager and he never returns my call. What kind of establishment ignores a customers requests for dialogue. Wondering if anyone else has had a lousy experience with this place. I will be posting on Motel 6's main website too. Needless to say I won't be staying ever at this place! They should get a minus 5 for a rating. read more

Nice for the price, seconds off of I-70, friendly staff that got our tired family set up quickly once we were in the door. I was nervous about the pet-friendly policy with an allergy-prone kiddo but the bright, clean room with smooth floors (no carpeting = no dander retention) was a relief. Charged my credit card at time of reservation! Because of this, my account was overdrawn twice!! Once I realized what had happened I called for the refund for rooms and for overdraft fees. The rude desk clerk Rob laughed at me over the phone. I called corporate office to complain and filed a report! Come to find out this is a privately owned location and I had to give 48 hours for them to respond. I emailed bank statements showing their fault. After 2 days with no response, the corporate office said "we reviewed your case and find Motel 6 not responsible!" Now I'm out $70.00 in overdraft fees and never even stayed in their hotel!!! Never again will I use Motel 6! Beware!! read more
