I travel for work and have stayed here several times because of its convenient location…read more Unfortunately, last year we stayed twice and on both occasions had to leave due to bed bugs or cockroaches in the room. This year we returned hoping the issue had been resolved. While the rooms initially appeared cleaner, there was a strong chemical cleaning smell, and one of the first-floor rooms we had an air purifier running. The fourth-floor room did not, though the odor was still very noticeable. Upon inspecting the beds, we found bed bugs in both rooms. The staff informed us that there were no other rooms available "without bugs." Staff was taking off sheets to other rooms to get rid of the bugs but not actually solving the problem as bugs are in the mattress. Additionally, the staff did not seem empathetic or concerned about the situation. Unfortunately, we will be taking our business elsewhere, which is disappointing as we enjoy the location.

For starters, there were fries and half eaten chicken nuggets on the hall floor on the way to our room. When we got to our room, the floors were sticky and somehow oily at the same time. Dirt everywhere in the corners. Went to shower and there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The glass shower door has build up and scum on like it hasn't been cleaned properly in months. The floor was continually dirty- see attached photo of the bottoms of my feet- this was AFTER showering. Next, there were multiple long black hairs in the bath towels. Pubic hairs in the sheets on one of the beds, black mold on the a/c unit. Overall NOT a good stay. Also several shady looking characters loitering around the hotel when we first got there (mid day). Stay here at your own risk. When we informed the front desk, they didn't offer any apologies or discount or ANYTHING. Just said that management would be told about the issues. Not a great way to deal with it IMO.

The managers Kimberly and buddy are amazing and we just happen to meet one of the owners who told us his plan. The bathrooms and showers and extremely clean and homey, the pool is fabulous and they are trying to create a schedule of activities for the residents. The view alone and trails are fantastic. Even though it's close to the highway, you really don't hear it, especially with earplugs. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all!
