They mist you slightly and there is a small breeze you can feel over the water. The dark wooden heft of the boat and the ideal seating arrangements built right into the boat's architecture feel very sumptuous. The sound track is very lounge-clubby. The whole place feels slightly overpriced by Krakov's generally cheap scale, but then, you won't get cocktails with this flair in other places. I would recommend the drink called "Dark Forest" which uses forest picked berries. The service is very sweet.

It is renovated, 125-years old place with modern and stylish bar and tapas in the menu. I could say that is great in the winter due to 160 -years -I guess- old fireplace. In the summer too where on the deck you can sunbathe using deckchairs. It would be amazing to get a ride on such boat :) sipping your drink.

This is one of the best bakeries in Kraków. I don't know anyone who'd disagree with this statement…read more Also, their 'pączki' are simply the best. If I had to choose only one place in Kraków where I would buy my 'pączki' on Fat Thursday, it'd definitely be 'Cukiernia Pod Arkadami'. On a day like Fat Thursday / Tłusty Czwartek, you have to visit them early, as I'm sure all 'pączki' will sell out very quickly. The place is tiny, but there is room for a few tables with comfortable chairs. I can't wait to visit them again for a cappuccino and a sweet treat. I never leave without something delicious to share. It's hard to decide what to buy because everything looks tempting and desirable. Only one time, we tried a multilayer cake, but it wasn't my favorite. I would definitely ask questions before ordering a birthday cake etc. I'm sure there is a flavor that suits anyone's preferences.

Hospudka is a Czech neighborhood pub that woke up one morning and found itself inexplicably in…read moreKazimierz. Whereas most places in the neighborhood have some kind of theme--be it artsy, hip, or nostalgic--Hospudka has none. All it does is serve beer and food. Initially, I found myself underwhelmed by the interior of Hospudka. It's just a bunch of tables in a room. After a couple beers though, I came to like the place quite a bit. The lack of pretension make it easy to relax here. The service is also very good. The waitress would notice my beer is running low and ask me for another. The real attraction at Hospudka is Czech beer, of course. As much as I like Polish beer, it's nice to get away from the Polish commercial brews once in a while.

If you look at it from other perspectives the rating would be less favourable: food very basic and more a beer accompaniment; the decor is very spartan and lacks atmosphere and if someone in your group doesn't want beer then the choices are poor. As a compromise 3 stars but if you are a group looking for some beers you will be happy to come here

When it comes to finding somewhere dark and modest, where you can sit and brood in brown solitude…read moreor be merry with other actual people over a good ol' beer or four, Eszeweria is definitely floating up there with my favourites for this particular genre of drinking holes. Complete with decent prices, an extensive and eclectic smoking area (like blondes, it seems that smokers have more fun, when it comes to Eszeweria, that is). The style itself is akin to most of the places you find in Kazimierz: dimly lit, candle wax mottling the table tops, to the extent that I occasionally think that there is an unspoken competition ensuing between different bars in the jewish district to see who can staple the highest number of juxtapositions and 1930's paraphernalia to the walls. However, I cannot deny that I do love that atmosphere, because it can also strip away a good amount of pretentiousness from the clientele, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Okay I do seem to be deviating from the point slightly now. In a nutshell, if you happen to be in Kazimierz and you find yourself becoming angry over the ridiculous amount of choice sprawled out before you and you cry to the person beside you "I just want a [insert preferred beverage]. A simple [insert preferred beverage]. Somewhere I can sit and tell you all the clever things I have to say about Nietzsche." Then head to Eszeweria.

Vines cover the fence under the cluster of sun umbrellas, and there are usually fresh flowers in a little pitcher on each table. Coffee is served in mismatched elegant thin teacups. Moreso even than lots of bars in Kazimierz, this place seems to come from a slightly different time or dimension.

Hope that will be improved over time because currently Krakow is one of the most polluted cities in Europe :( So maybe better to stay inside than.
