I had a simple breaker panel with one double pole GFI breaker and one single pole GFI breaker with…read morerespective outlets for each installed into a basic 4 line Midwest panel box and mounted onto the existing utility pole that already had the meter socket - complete mounted on the utility pole. When the state electrical inspector came to sign off on it he had to make some corrections to the wiring before he would pass the work. The work was done by a Nebraska state licensed "master " electrician and it was done wrong. The GFI circuits would trip after the power was turned on even though nothing was plugged into the outlets yet so I called the contractor back to repair the problem. He charged me for that visit also, 120 more dollars. This simple job came with the price tag of 1,300 dollars. I am in the process of turning this "master electrician" into the needed state offices for license review. An electrician may charge whatever they wish for labor but it seems 500 dollars was a bit steep to hang one small two sub circuit panel box on a pole and hook it into the meter plug. I will use posts like this and everything else I can find and do to warn other people who are not from the great state of nebraska's "good ole-boy club" so they do not have to suffer as I have.

My parents hired them to look at their boiler (yes older home). They had heat on ground floor but…read morenot upstairs. The technician clearly did not know what he was doing. After hours of working made no progress in fixing the problem and would need to return the next day. Parents called and specifically asked they NOT send the same technician and send someone who knew about fixing boilers. The next morning the same technician showed up so they immediately called and asked why they sent him again. They were told the guy who knew was busy on. BIG job in Kearney so had to send him. By the time he got done they had NO heat. At that point they asked him to just leave. He informed them they had to pay before he could leave. Ended up paying $1000 to them for not only not fixing it but making it worse!
