Stock ranges from formal suits to t-shirts. Many designer makes available. A fantastic range of shirts, one of the best in the south west. They also do Jeffrey West shoes which in my book and one of the best British designers around. They often have a sale with good reductions on many items. If you are after something different you could do a lot worse than visit this place.

I can't believe people actually shop here - hopefully with the credit crunch, people will start to realise that paying £10 per square centimetre of a garment is simply ridiculous. The arcade in which The Real Mccoy sits feels a little bit magical and it's a great pastime to go and have a rummage around the pretty dresses and waistcoats. I used to think I'd get my wedding dress here and, while this hasn't quite turned into reality, I have bought many a good item (my first purchase here being a lime green boa which I thought was the business) and my partner has too. If you want to get some vintage haul and then go for a pretty decent cup of coffee then head here!

It has also lost it's 'home' section. The nearest home section is now in Torquay of all places and NOT the regions Capital! This is very poorly allocated, as Torquay doesn't have the 'footfall' of Exeter, and it's based in a very small and limited parking estate called 'The Willows'. Very inconvenient when this is over half an hour away, and then with 'seasonal' traffic, you are looking at more than double the time to get there. VERY off putting! Come on M&S! Pull your finger out and be more creative with what you have. I don't appreciate when I asked the question in store about homeware, to then be told "to look online"! I hardly call that 'customer service' in the first instance, and don't most people like to see what they buy before they buy it? rather than looking at a picture online??? It doesn't give the true indication of size, width, etc...

If you have the patience to do that, then you might find something good in amongst all the designer tat! The Exeter store is quite large, and spread out over 2 floors. There are a huge number of trousers, tops, shirts, skirts, kids clothes, bags, books etc to wade through, but you might just find a couple of bits worth buying! There is a large free carpark at the Exebridges Centre, so you can take your time in the store.

I love the fact that you never know what you might find and when you do find something its quite special at a discount price. The shop is easy to move around, easily accessible and also contains house hold items, although i have never found anything particularly interesting. The staff are helpful if you want to try and find something in particular.
