Solid. Good food and excellent service. Our family has come here for dinner twice during trips to Miami. This time we got dumplings, vegetarian sushi, udon noodles and fried rice. My son got the roast chicken dish which had nicely seasoned chicken in a sweet savory broth with mashed potatoes. The flavors are good and generally mild. I'd say it's more American Asian food and probably need to venture out of the tourist areas for something more authentic. My wife and I came to Moshi Moshi for our anniversary weekend as we stayed on the beach, and wow it was phenomenal. My ramen was spicy, savory and delicious, I'd definitely get it again. But the real winner... was the salmon. It was one of the best meals I've had in a while, it came with roasted broccoli which was superb and a homemade mash potato, also yummy. Once again, I wish you could rate with half stars on Yelp because I was really conflicted between 3 or 4 stars for Moshi Moshi. I visited with a group of work friends a couple nights ago and while we did enjoy our visit, we just weren't blown away by the food. We were seated right away upon arriving even though the reservation was for 2 and we showed up a group of 5 - I felt like that was very accommodating! The restaurant is a cute, small spot with fun neon signs for decoration and friendly servers that took good care of us throughout our visit. For the most part, the food was fine to good. The only item I did not continue to eat was the wagyu tacos because the meat was very chewy and the texture wasn't appealing. My favorite item was the fried pork gyoza, which had a salty and savory flavor in a well-cooked dumpling. We tried a lot of other items including nigiri, several sushi rolls (spicy tuna, Moshi Moshi, dragon roll), shishito peppers, ceviche, warm mushrooms, and stone-cooked wagyu. Everyone seemed content with the food, but for me I want my meal to be something special! I want the food to be so yummy that I feel like dancing! Came across Moshi Moshi while heading to Espinola Way. The place is unassuming from the outside. Besides a few tables outside and a menu posted on the door, you could easily miss the restaurant. The interior design is cute with some neon lights and cute backdrops. Walk in and you're greeted by the hostess which will inform you that Moshi Moshi is a cashless and tipless establishment. You do your own order and pay for your food in advance. Ordering involves scanning the QR code posted at each table, adding items to the cart, and checking out. Since you're doing all the work, it makes sense for the place to be tipless. My group came hungry so we ordered an assortment of menu items and dined family style. * Lychee Salmon Roll * Pork Tonkotsu Ramen * Red Dragon Roll * Moshi Moshi Roll * Shrimp Shumai * Tuna Tataki * Mimo Roll Everything was super tasty and portions are quite big. The most unique roll was the Lychee Salmon Roll. I didn't think I would enjoy it, but it turned out pretty tasty. Ordered via Uber Eats. They were moderately priced for Miami. Packaged well. I ordered the 1/2 grilled Lobster and I give it a 3/5. The lobster was seasoned well but a bit overcooked. It came with home made potato purée which unfortunately tasted like boxed potatoes and maitake mushrooms which I'm sure would have been good but mine were cold. I also ordered the risky rice roll with jalapeño and tuna tartare which was cooked to perfection. The rice was perfectly crispy and the tuna was amazing. The combination was a 5/5. These are the biggest sushi rolls I've ever seen! They offer plenty of vegan options, though it'd be even better if they were clearly marked. I've been to both this location and the one up by 79th st, which has a more extensive menu, but I still found lots of choices here. I went for the vegetable roll and seaweed salad - both delicious. The decor gives off a Japanese dining vibe, complete with tables where you take off your shoes to sit. There was even a tableside magician, adding to the entertainment. I adore this place. I was looking for quick-ish lunch spot near my hotel and found this gem. First of all, it's open 24/7, so you can get delicious noms anytime of the day or night. I ordered their Japanese Egg Drop Soup, Salmon Sashimi Tacos (raw), Crispy Rice Roll, and Chicken Karaage. I though all the devious were tasty, plus the Egg Drop soup was just the right level of salty and the Karaage was super crispy. The raw dishes for me really stood out. The Crispy Rice Roll are small rice balls (squares) that have been lightly fried and then topped with spicy tuna, thinly sliced jalapeño, and drizzled in eel sauce. It's a perfect combination of spicy and sweet with a beautiful texture. My favorite dish is their Salmon Sashimi Taco. If a restaurant has this on their menu, I'm trying it. This one's one of the best I've had. It's a generous portion and well balanced. The salmon was so fresh and sweet and with a light season (spicy mayo). Topped with a slice of avocado and micro greens, this crunchy taco is a textural gem. I could have eaten 2 more of them! I did find it odd that you have to order from their website using a QR code (even though a host seats you and a server checks in on you). Make sure you or someone in your party has a mobile device! My husband and I have been searching for an amazing spot for Japanese food since coming back from Japan. This did not disappoint! I fell in love with takoyaki in Japan and this is the most authentic I've had, if not better than the ones I had in Japan! It's a must try! For delivery and take out, you can only use Postmates or Ubereats and cannot modify your order, which is a shame as I love adding cream cheese to my rolls. I get the order and it's warm which is good but the quality unfortunately was not the best. The dragon roll was not very fresh, the shrimp was really chewy and the flavor was off. The veggie fried rice did not have the broccolini it's supposed to come with and was very heavy on the onion. It was very salty as well. The spicy mayos were also not good in flavor or quality. The spring rolls were the better part of the order, as was the dipping sauce. The quality in food and freshness was lacking for the order. I hope it's a better experience next time. read more

If you take a look at most of my reviews, I HARDLY come to the Sobe anymore but I found myself making a trek down to the area at the start of art Basel week for a panel. I was starving after all the walking around and chit chatting so my friends and i decided we wanted to pull up to our old friend, Moshi Moshi. As you as you sit down, go ahead and order that hamachi kama with your drinks because it's cooked to order and takes a bit to grill. It is the most meaty and delicious part of the fish I've ever had. Hardly any bones and truthfully if there are any, they're big and easy to remove. The shrimp shumai are also a fave but I prefer them pan fried. My friend who is vegetarian ordered their veggie fried rice and edamame (my fave) and we shared because the portions are big. Moshi Moshi truly is a Miami Beach staple and it's always nice to pop in and get the vibes. FYI, street parking still sucks BUT there are few parking garages that are walking distance. read more
