I expected to receive a request for review or survey later in the day, but nothing from AAA except the computerized "thank you." So this review is by way of saying "Thanks again" to David. He meticulously, and successfully, found the cause of the leak: a nail so tiny I imagine it was used in making doll house furniture. Then he said he could put the spare on or he could do a repair. Placing the spare, covered; repair, $38. So I called my daughter (her car) to see which she wanted. She'd already made an appointment to bring the car into the shop on Monday, so she was happy to know repair was an option. Saving a weekend of running to an air pump at least once a day, and parts and labor on Monday at the shop (which would most likely do a repair, anyway), we had David do the repair. He did an excellent job, of course. Was always polite and professional --except to the many yellow jackets flitting about the area. In sum, David did a great job, saved my daughter time and money, represented WNY AAA perfectly. Oh, and I had only about a 40-minute wait for the truck to show up. Great job, AAA!

Earlier this week I was cold-called by a woman named Lori who, in a voice- mail, stated that Karen had opened an independent agency and they wanted to give me a quote. She (practically) assured me they would save me "hundreds of dollars compared to Allstate". I called back to get my auto and homeowners insurance quotes. The biggest issue is that the auto quote that was sent to me was not mine! I am sure that the woman named "Gwendolyn" would not be happy knowing that I was given her name, address, phone number, email address and car's VIN number! I am terrified to think about who may have gotten my sensitive information! Next... the person who called me (Lori) alternately asked for my patience because she was training.... and told me that I can be confident with her because she had 25 years of experience. Huh??? I was repeatedly called for more and more information using different phone numbers from differing areas in WNY. The person I spoke with (Lori) has never met me, and yet I was addressed as Jo, Jode, and Hon. And, she repeatedly commented on how beautiful and expensive my house is.... and how I must be doing very well. Neither professional nor appreciated! And, to add insult to injury, the insurance quote I received for my homeowners insurance was several hundred dollars more than I am currently paying (for identical coverage with a larger deductible). I am not sure how much my auto insurance would be since I received Gwendolyn's quote instead of mine. I'm still wondering (and terrified about!) who received mine. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
