The transfer process was not bad for me, the only thing I would have liked better was for them to have allowed me into my account sooner so I could confirm Auto Pay was transferred. Thankfully, it was transferred so I didn't have to worry about that. BUT - insurance renewal rolled around and I wanted to make sure it would be paid through my escrow account. Called RoundPoint 2 months in advance about it, was told by the agent that my escrow account would not be paying for it this year. It was very strange because I was pretty sure that was what I signed up for with the escrow account. Anyways, I end up paying $900 on my own to renew my homeowners insurance. Two months later and I see a disbursement from my account for insurance. Called immediately to ask why, the agent told me that escrow always pays insurance and whoever told me that it wouldn't was wrong. So now I have to chase down the insurance company to try to get my payment refunded. Not happy and have had to make many calls in order to do that. I am not sure why I was told in the first place that I had to pay my own insurance.
