David Oldenburg has a real good resume . Imagine buying a flip house , your contact, borrowing…read moremoney from David Oldenburg, a private lender with self proclaimed 34 yrs ,experience. You borrow for the rehab money because you got the home at such a good price. You take the down payment to title company and list where asked whose the lender and you put David Oldenburg. 5 months later you get sued . Why? Because the lender who took his money in to title as well , did not put himself in first position and title over looked this and put you down as a cash paying , paid in full home owner. For 5 months a judgement from a bad investment , that you were set to make payments on, sees you paid cash for a home and puts a lien on the home for 96k ( original judgement 26k) but now that you look lime you lied about assets ... penalties and fees added. House gets finished ready to sell, goes on market get good offer and only then does David Oldenburg realize his mistake. Big mistake! Rather than admit fault he gets a lawyer and sues all others ahead of him in position.. Sue's you for doing it on purpose , although it was his money, his responsibility to not only protect his money( which is why he charges points and thousands in fees. but as a lender he has a oath to protect the borrowers investment as well. . You now have no money to get legal representation but he is slandering you with accussations, due to HIS own negligence. What happened at title? what was said during him bringing the 190k in ? Only title and David know that because the borrower is not part of that transaction . 4 yrs ago a smaller loan was borrowed , contract signed and it went as planed , except somewhere during the rehab David started seeing a young realtor. Him being married made spending money on Gf hard. So borrower was contacted and asked if he would act as if he needed 5k more so he could write his affair into borrowers financial obligation. Borrower declined but guess who was the scapegoat for his infidelity? Causing him personal problems as well, This man writes a good resume but he is not looking out for his. lines best Interests , hes negligently causing harm and asking for lawyers fee"s This man needs to stand before a Judge so a Judge can put a stop to his dealings in Real Estate. Things can and do go wrong in real estate but if you use him it will be his fault and you will pay the price.. But luckily telling the truth will hopefully bring an expert to protect the borrower in this mess

Ten years ago we hired David to sell our home and then help us find a new home. We were VERY picky!!!! We were impressed with the professionalism and he knows everything about the real estate and mortgages business and gave us a $5,000 credit that we used to pay closing costs and get a lower rate. Since that time we have used him to buy another home and refinance twice and given his name to several people we know. I hope this comment helps you make a decision. Jason took the time to get to know us and our needs, and helped us find exactly what we wanted while providing advice from his experience as a real estate agent. Since this was a new venture for us, Jason thoroughly explained the process as well as answered our every question, even the dumb ones. This business can be intimidating and a lot can go over your head without any prior knowledge, and Jason made sure we were well-informed every step of the way. One of the biggest things that you need from your Jason is responsiveness. My husband and I definitely challenged Jason by asking odd questions (at odd hours) and never waited longer than an hour without a response. And if he didn't have a response, then he made sure to let me know he'd find it. Overall, I'd highly recommend Jason as your real estate agent. He's honest, hard working, responsive, and just a real nice guy.

I contacted him on a home I liked in Granite bay to hopefully reduce the commision to the sellers and give me a little bargaining power. Come to find out the reduction was minimal to the sellers. I purchased the home at full price minus some of the termite damages the home had. Vitali was very slow at returning calls or text and not very accommodating at all. I allowed the sellers to stay in the home for a week after it closed on my dime along with utilities, etc. The sellers did not close on time and took an additional day on my dime also. The home closed and Vitali told me he would get me the keys in which he didn't! I had the threaten him to get my keys 5 days later. The free stay was up and the sellers still refused to leave, I had a 3500.00 deposit on the home. After another week of me being there and babysitting them as their new home was getting sanitized and new carpet, etc. Vitali told me there was nothing he could do as he was the buying and selling agent on my house and the buyers agent on the sellers new home... The sellers finally left my home leaving a total mess and tons of garbage everywhere. They lied about plumbing problems and rodent problems on the declarations they signed. Vitali was no help in anything and left me out to dry!! He is all about the money with no customer service at all...... Buyers and sellers beware of this man!!! To top it off, his broker called me the other day after everything that went on but not with an apology of everything that happened to me but to ask for the seller's deposit back!! I said are you serious??!! Guess where this leaves us all at???

We were first time buyers who thought we had done a lot of homework to get ready but like so many…read moreothers had no real idea of what was involved before starting the financing and home purchasing processes (really two separate processes). Once we were ready to begin, a mortgage broker friend from another state referred us to Tim Halvorson whom I have (still) never met in person. From the very beginning Tim provided one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had, and I have pretty high standards for service. This will sound like a fake review, but be assured it is very real and representative of our experience! Our timing was bad - putting us right in the middle of the worst time in history to try to get financed - yet Tim was always calm, confident, reassuring, and very responsive throughout the three months we worked with him. He is a true professional. Our situation was complicated, requiring indepth discussions to be processed accurately and Tim took the time to learn and understand our situation to obtain the appropriate documentation resulting in a very good deal. We communicated on a daily basis by phone, email, and texting - sometimes on the weekend. We worked directly with Tim, not through an assistant or associate or clerk or anyone else like the big banks will have you do. Tim provided a concierge like service to us and went far above our expectations. At no point did we feel uninformed or suspicious of his motives, which was very reassuring during such a stressful and extended process involving such a large purchase. At the end when reviewing the escrow documents the financing fees were listed - we were truly shocked to find they were so low. Being aware and appreciative of all the time he spent with us we could only hope he was compensated fairly. I think that feeling alone says a lot about our experience. Thank you Tim and although we have no immediate plans to go through this again, we will be looking for you next time too!
