Morrison's in the Killingworth Centre is a good-sized Supermarket offering every day groceries plus magazines, books, clothes and some Electronics and entertainment items. There is a good Deli here too, with a wide variety of take away meals, cheeses, meats and an in-house bakery offering freshly baked bread and delicious cakes. Morrison's also has a great selection of "free from" foods with gluten, dairy and wheat free products. The staff are friendly, there is a good in-house Café to eat at, and the store supports the local community well through a notice board and fund raising projects. The only thing stopping me giving this Morrison's 5 stars is the fact that I've regularly found it lacking in stock. Every day items often seem to be out of stock and not replenished quickly. That apart, it's my local Supermarket of choice and rarely disappoints. read more

Morrisons is terrible at the moment. Every time I go in the shelves are bare. I understood when the weather was bad. I work in the area so morrisons has always been my main store to shop at. Many times I have to take my business elsewhere, even just to buy a loaf of bread. read more

I am a user of LPG as an alternative fuel for my car. I use this fuel for two main reasons 1. It's more environmentally friendly than petrol or diesel and 2. It's cheaper, that is when it's available at Morrisons! You do not seem to have any control over availability, nor communicating whether it's available or not when I phone before attempting to go and fill up. All I ever get when I mention this is that we have no control of the deliveries, what kind of message is that I wonder? Where is your green commitment? You are not taking the issue seriously, I have experienced this problem for 3 years now. It's pure rubbish!! Come on Morrisons, you can do better! read more

Lovely supermarket with a brilliant range of everyday goods.I always find Morrisons competetive price wise.This store is always well stocked and seems to have plenty staff especially on the checkouts where you need them.I love the bakery section always fresh and such good value.There is also a cafe which sells good value meals or just coffee and a snack.All well priced.I like the fact the store is so clean and airy a bonus to say the least.Situated in a busy shopping centre there are other stores you can visit while you're there whih is handy. read more

Busy supermarket and cafe set in the Killingworth Centre. Morrisons has an extensive range of food and groceries and high quality fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Of all the high street supermarkets I think Morrisons offer the best value for money and definitely the nicest meat! The cafe offers roast dinners and a hot meal menu as well as sandwiches and cakes and is pleasant. The shelves are usually well stocked and they have a good wine and beer selection - my husband loves the Marston Oyster stout he's got here. Other strong points at Morrisons are the fruit batch loaf and good value hot cooked food to take away for lazy meals! read more

Good shop with a good range of products especially food. There are usually soem good bargains to be had especially the buy one get one free offers. CDs and DVDs are usually competitively priced, particular the new ones. The bakery section is well worth a visit and check out the wine offes. read more
