There's plenty of free parking and it's conveniently located. The choice is excellent and the shop well laid out and always well stocked, even at busy periods near Christmas. The special offers are good and the quality of the fresh meat, fruit and vegetables and fish is superb. There is a cafe which serves hot food as well as snacks, sandwiches, cakes and drinks and is a pleasant place to prepare for the shopping or recover from it! Service can be a bit slow at times for the hot food but it's tasty and portions are large. Their big breakfasts are fab! There's a good range of CDs, DVDs and magazines and plenty of tills so it doesn't suffer too much from long queues unless at extraordinarily busy times.

The actual store is very clean and bright but as the store also takes payment for petrol as well as shop goods it can have horrendous queues. I only use this store if I'm desperate if I'm honest as it does have a limited stock to offer.Also since the full sized Tesco supermarket is just along the road it's just as easy to go there.

The pumps do not have a card payment option so you will also find that the queues instore can be a pain as well. The shop itself is very clean and is well stocked. There is always fresh fruit and vegetables incase you need to stock up. The staff are polite but stressed. You can see it in their faces that they wish the queues would go down. The most annoying thing about the store is that if you are just want to pay for petrol you still have to queue with the people who have shopping. And some have loads. They should dedicate one till to petrol only or change the pumps to the card type. All that said the petrol station is one of the cheapest in the area and has one of a limited number of cash points in the area.

Cereal and soap powder are fairly cheap. Just remember to use the little plastic shovels inside each bin and don't you dare just use your dirty paws because that would just be dirty. The man who works there is nice enough and reminds me a bit of the weetos cereal character (he wears a white apron). There should be more of these shops and I'm sure there used to be. This branch is also very good for reduced produce at the end of the day! I am a big fan of their own brand food and also find they have a very good range of vegetarian produce. Their organic food range is also the best I have found among the supermarkets, although it can be mroe expensive than others.

The george here is good and often has sales to make the clothes even cheaper that usual, they have a full range of their electrical stuff as well as dvds, books and cds. I woudlnt be getting the fresh fruit and veg from here as they tend not to have a long shelf life The meal deals here are good as they have a large range of chinese and vegetarian food. They do have a space in the chiller where the sale items where the date is almost up and they usually have some really good offers here

I used to always spoiled for shoice bu in recent months I often cant find anything at all. Last week I visited and there was no in store fresh bread, no fench sticks and no minced beef. The food that you get from tescos is okay if you buy brand names but I really dont like there own name stuff. There are plenty of trolleys and the tills are usually well staffed the main problem with this tesco though is it is in the wrong place off a main road which isnt easy to get onto or off of it is too far to walk not near buses and when you drive in the traffice lights just after you come off the main road make it hell to get into there are alway queues of card trying to get in and out and there is only one small lane. It might sell everything you need but the hassle of trying to get to it is just too much bother
