BEWARE OF PITTERS AND PRESLY LAW OFFICE…read more Please don't let anyone talk you into using this place. They will take your money and do absolutely NOTHING for you. Once they get paid, communication stops completely--no updates, no calls, no progress on your case. It's like you don't even exist anymore. They make promises just to get you in the door, but don't follow through on any real service. When you try to reach them, you're ignored. When you ask questions, you get no answers. Save yourself the stress, time, and money. Go somewhere that actually values their clients and does the work they're paid to do. This experience has been beyond disappointing.

My sons cases are over a hour away from Mr.Pitters Law Firm, my son's cases started in 2022 and it…read moreall started with corruption. We initially hired a local lawyer. In 23 we decided to get out of our local area and from word of mouth from people In the community we live in we heard about him so we contacted him and put my son's cases in his hands , we hired him without knowing anything but what we had heard , my son's situation was/is a very complicated situation due to the corruption and it felt so hopeless. Three years of dealing with Mr.Pitters he has went through the HELL with us , unlike most lawyers he has a cell phone and communicates even on weekends , never had to go through others it's direct communication. He comes to the house , and goes to the jail. He is very busy and will still keep communication open , he responds even if he's in court somewhere on another case he will let us know and gets back to us as soon as he can, he goes above and beyond. He is passionate about his job and as a defense lawyer that's exactly what he does he defends to the fullest. We just had our trial from the 22 case after five years , the prosecution had 5 or 6 witnesses all from the system, narcotic investigators, forensic people ect. This trial was long and extensive, 8am till night time days in a row , every day of this trial he had over a hour drive there and over a hour drive back home only to return at 8am the next morning. He showed up and showed out everyday of this trial! With all the witnesses and their so called evidence he blew the roof off the courthouse every day of this trial, he crossed every T and dotted every I. He did this by himself no witnesses at all for my son and my son did not take the stand he never said a word through out the entire trial , it was Mr.Pitters alone that fought like a lion in this trial through all those witnesses from the DA's side and the DA. I knew this was corruption and I thought there was no way out. The jury deliberated for hours and hours to end with a dead lock/ hung jury! This trial should have been on Television, Mr.Pitters put his passion to work from the minute trial started till the end. I've never seen a lawyer with such passion , he was determined to not get a conviction and my son had 5 charges. The jury will never forget this trial! He is theatrical, comical and he will rip the other side apart at the same time. I am forever grateful for crossing paths with Mr.Pitters and putting my son's fate in his hands.

I tried to close on a house with this attorney and the incompetence I experienced cost me a lot of…read moremoney. If you care about your mental health and the health of your bank account, avoid this attorney at all costs. What should have been a simple cash transaction involving an international wire transfer devolved into a drawn out tantrum of shirking responsibility and finger pointing. The problems arose when we were informed that his bank couldn't accept international wire transfers, however an intermediary bank would provide the solution. The instructions we were given by his assistant were incomplete. As a result, the transfer was rejected meaning not only did I lose money transferring euros to dollars, but I'll lose more money once the dollars are transferred back to euros. Not to mention the non-refundable transfer fees I won't get back. All of this could have been avoided if the attorney had just either given correct instructions or simply said they couldn't accept an international transfer full stop, then I could have found another solution. As it stands now, I'm no closer to closing on my house and my funds are in limbo for at least another 21 days. And the attorney was not interested in finding a solution. Instead he wanted to imply that I was trying to fraud him because my money happens to be in euros. Well that's the thanks I get for living and working abroad for twelve years. If your looking for an attorney who knows what he's doing, has a staff that is competent, and has a professional demeanor, keep looking.

I have been blessed to have Julian McPhillips represent me twice in the last 10 years. I was in a…read moresevere accident in 2008, with a drunk driver hitting back of my vehicle approximately 45 mph while my car was stationary at a red light. I had never called or been to an attorney before as this was a terrible new experience for me. Attorney. McPhillips, as well as his assisting staff, immediately put my nerves to rest with his kindness, genuinely caring about what had happened to my children and me and reassuring me everything would be fine even if the driver did not have insurance and my insurance did not want to pay, He was correct! Within a few months, Geico settled and paid for injuries and totaled car. Attorney. McPhillips won the case against a major insurance company and I was able to heal and have necessary surgeries without any stress! Thank you Attorney McPhillips and McPhillips Shinbaum!! My second experience with Attorney Mcphillips was just as wonderful in spite of the seriousness of the accident and my injuries. I pulled over for an ambulance to pass and the driver of a major trucking company tried to jump in front of the ambulance and in the process literally drove over my mini van , which was caught under the 18 wheeler at this point, and drug me to the top of an onramp where he finally jack knifed truck was forced to stop. I spent 9 months in the hospital and during the following 4 years had 12 abdominal surgeries and all the complications that may come with them. This company wanted to settle and quickly for only the medicals I had received at the two year mark after the accident. Attorney McPhillips had the foresight and knowledge that I very well would have future medical issues which indeed did happen. Not to mention the emotional loss I felt not being at home with my young boys and only seeing them when they would visit me at the hospital. The opposing Attorneys, and there were many, continued to try and settle for an insulting amount that would not have covered any of my future surgeries, Regardless of the size of this trucking company, the name attached to this trucking company or the many attorneys this trucking company hired, Attorney McPhillips and his assistants, including Amelia Strickland who had also assisted in 2008 accident, assured me he and the firm would not give up or give in. He did not and I count my blessings every day for God providing such a wonderful attorney and assistant to not treat me as a case but a human being who they visited, called and developed a close relationship with myself and my children. Not one time did they act as though I were a case to make them money but a person who was severely hurt and needed protection in that moment and the years to come. They won that case too! Again, this is not about Attorney McPhillips or Amelia Strickland winning cases for me but individuals who treated me with professionalism, kindness and the hurt human being I was at the time. I pray there are no more car accidents in my future, but if there are there is nowhere else I would go BUT to McPhillips Shinbaum, and every attorney there is great, but I personally will be requesting Attorney McPhillips and his Office manager Amelia Strickland!! Know this is long and thank you for those who stuck with reading all the way through. As you can tell I am extremely passionate and want to lead others in similar or any situation to the best law firm I know!!!
