The bartender, Maggie, went above and beyond her duties to make this a pleasant time. They were very generous and friendly and met all our needs. It was a good time for all and we received a lot of compliments from our guests on how much fun they had and how pleasant the hall / bartender was. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed. Thank you again!! Terri Cooley

I don't know how this location was missed in the listings! They opened here in Joliet a few years…read moreago. We have been going there several times a month ever since. When I need something for the house, or for a project, they are the first place we check! You just never know what you may find there. I needed a 25 foot VGA cable for a show, didn't have time to drive to Westmont to get one. We stopped at the ReStore just for anyhow, and amazingly, they actually had one! I think I paid a whole $5 for it and it saved the day! I don't think there was another one available in the entire city of Joliet that day. The people there are awesome, always willing to try to get you what you want and willing to work with you. Plus, it's fun!

I have been going to the Joliet restore for quite a few years now. I usually have a pretty good…read moreexperience but the last few times I left feeling very irritated with the manager. I have also noticed that things have gotten pretty pricey in the last year. There is a man that works there, I think he may be the manager, that is very rude. I have negotiated on prices in the past when buying furniture pieces and he acted like I was asking him to buy it for me. I understand the goal is to make as much money as possible to not only sustain the store but the charity as well, but that doesn't mean that you treat people so bad that they choose not to come back. I would have only given one star but the other people that work there are very nice and the store is a great resource for people and I would hate to know that one person's bad attitude would cause people not to shop there.

You can even order cans of beer at the bar. I'm kind of biased because I won $5 last time, but I can say with all honesty this is the best bingo in town. American Legion Saturday night bingo is pretty good too. Knights of Columbus has the worst bingo, in case you're looking for a comparison. I'd like to try out the Streator Elk's bingo next. I'll update y'all when that happens.
