I've got my basket filled with Persian cookies, Lebanese yogurt, saffron, couscous, ghee, spices and pita bread. I'd love to buy some lamb and beef but I'm avoiding buying them until I trust the government. The man at the counter speaks with me about my fears and assures me his halal meet is 100% beef and lamb. I believe him, but I'll wait just a little longer and then I'll be back. Now, off to urgent care and off with my sunglasses. I could barely see anything in the market with my sunglasses on and they probably thought I was pretending to be someone famous. I'll be back for the meat when I don't look like a famous gargoyle.
