This book store we came across while just walking around the area. I was with three friends and one of them wanted to come chck this store out and glad we did. This book store does not only sell books but an array of other products too like: puzzles, clothes, records, games and more. We had fun browsing the store and our friend bought a record or two. Its a very spacious store and great to walk around in. They have a cute kids section in the front where it's geared for younger readers to enjoy books and games. I did not interact with any staff but they seemed to be nice. I would deff come back here if ever in the area.

I highly recommend this used bookstore. Well-organized displays of books, spacious, clean, and very pleasing layout (how often is that the case with a bookstore?!). Books are reasonably priced (most I checked the prices on were $7-$8 for like-new hardcover). I found several books I wanted, all in new or almost new condition, which seems to be mostly what they stock. The music section alone is a remarkable collection of books. Fiction section, although not huge, was also of a diverse selection. The staff is very and friendly and helpful, and let me give a special shout-out to Jocelyn for all the assistance she provided on a recent visit. They also carry some previously owned clothing, and other gift items, although I was sorry not to have more time to browse those items. All it's all for a good cause. Will be back.

Such a cute bookstore! I can't help to buy myself a birthday gift from the 'blind date' area!

Amazing. Inclusive, meaningful and a readers dream. This bookstore and it's mission is so important. I much rather shop here than a Barnes and Noble. Every time you shop here your money goes to empowering the the local youth. Lots of book options, used and new! I also really love their gifting section.

Great collection of books about #titletown this place is a career haven for at risk youth

What a great bookstore with a fantastic cause! A varied selection comfortable spots to read if you are so inclined to see if the book you are perusing is up to snuff for ya *wink, wink. Prices were affordable for my addiction LOL Service was courteous and helpful. Respectfully Reviewed

More Than Words is an incredible organization. I've volunteered here multiple times with the group One Brick Boston and have also been in as a regular book-buying customer. This nonprofit is unique and has a positive impact. The young people in the program learn how to work, being promoted through the ranks and getting more responsibilities as they demonstrate strong work ethic. The program also builds in time for them to better themselves, whether that is to study for their GED or manage their personal finances. As a volunteer, you get to learn more about the organization straight from the youth. You then work alongside them, scanning and pre-sorting books to be sold in the store/online or donated further. There are SO MANY books, the majority being sold online, and if you're flexible in what you're going to read next, you can really find some gems. There are a variety of genres from biographies to sci fi, classics to young adult. And the prices! Paperbacks are around $4 and hard covers are a bit over $5. If you go on a sale day, you may even find some steals for $1 or a 2-for-1 deal. I'm happy to support this organization and the youth that it helps empower. And if I get some great new reads from it, there's really nothing better!

I have a lot of books to donate. But I don't have a car right now, I can take the train all the way down to downtown but do you guys have a drop off place? Where I don't have to walk for 10 minutes caring heavy books with me to donate?

Hi Viaki! Thank you so much for your upcoming donation! If you have 5+ boxes (they don’t have to be large), we can actually schedule a pick up from your home. Otherwise, we also have many drop off locations throughout Massachusetts. The locations of… Read more

Harvard Square

We stumbled upon Rodney's while exploring Harvard Square area. We loved bookstores, so we had to…read morecheck it out. Wish we had more time! It is pretty big and they have a lot of books, but it was crowded, making harder to browse and navigate. As far as the selection goes, it wasn't our cup of tea. Which is OK. Schedule - every day 12-7 pm , Fridays and Saturdays stays open till 8 pm which is great! You are left alone to look at books, staff here doesn't come around to bother you which is a major plus! Prices are a tad high for a used bookstore. It's worth checking it of you're in the area and you're a fellow bookworm! It has a charming, cozy feel to it.

Was about 6$ for 30 mins or 14$ for 1 hr... needless to say we spent a little more than 30 minutes browsing at the book store. They have a few very old books located next to the checkout point. Books on many hobbies and world religions as well as classics. They do have groups of reference books and thesaurus's (and while they may have been there... I noticed partial sets and only maybe 1-2 complete sets). Books are reasonably priced -- between 94 cents and 30$+. Store was pretty busy when we stopped by but that's exactly what I'd like with a used bookstore. They do accept donations and I surmise that the inventory turns over rather quickly.

Back Bay

I can't recommend The College Club of Boston enough. It's a beautiful victorian style building. Old…read morefashioned, but truly iconic. I was staying for 2 nights, my first time in the city. I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

The venue itself was breathtakingly beautiful, clean, and presentable. We requested a charcuterie board, champagne, and fruit platter, and it was stunningly displayed and high quality. There was a great mini-bar. Anna the manager was very responsive and accommodating. I am extremely pleased with our experience and would 100% recommend this venue!
