You never really know what you are going to find that will come in handy on your trip. The last time I was here I brought some biodegradable travel soap and shampoo. I don't know if it would pass a green wash but I felt good for buying it. Bogong Equipment has everything needed for those serious adventures, from freeze dried food to climbing equipment. The staff are also very well educated and most likely you will find that at least someone in the store has done a similar adventure to what you are about to go on and will give you the correct advice.

I mean, the weird thing is, and the reason I do still visit this shop, is because they almost make the kind of shoes I like but there's something so amiss about their designs. It always looks to me that they're a high street store copying high fashion shoes and not quite getting it right. No one expects the quality to be up there with the high fashion stuff, but it all looks a bit cheap to me, which would be perfectly fine if it was all cheap, but it's not. Most of their heels fall between $100 to $200, and of course, it's a bit more for boots. For that kind of price tag, I'd rather shop at Nine West. I came in to buy a pair of booties (shoes) and when I got home for some reason my brother tried them both on and noticed that one was larger than the other. I went back to Incu the next day and explained the situation, at that point the store clerk apologised for the mistake and let me know that they would exchange the larger shoe for the smaller one. I told him that would not be necessary, I would like to purchase the other odd pair of shoes and my brother would take the two large and I the two small. Helpful and patient as I asked questions and looked at various sizes of the one sweater, the dude that served me was a delight. I really appreciated his kindness and genuine interest in me as he took the time to wrap my gift. Whenever I pick up a new pair of boots, usually a market find, they tend to need re-soling. This is when I pop don to the little old man at Boronia Shoe Repairs. A true cobbler, straight out of a fairy tale, he does amazing work on shoes and costs half as much as a new pair of boots would normally cost. His store is tiny, with a collection of shoes on sale, and he works out back by himself, tinkering away at your shoes like a labour of love. I have recommended his work to all of my friends, and I now pass on that recommendation to you.
