When I visit with my in-laws I want to know they are happy. Having reluctantly taken their Motorhome to these clowns (a second time - they are the only resource for miles) to deal with a engine warning light that preceded engine stuttering under load, they were told fees for oil replacement and a new plug would cost in the range of a hundred bucks or so. As a final result, the work cost $700. And that it would fix the problem. It didn't. "Pop is NOT Happy".
But NOT needing the conflict, or an arrest for going back and dragging the mechanics through the glass, this simple review will do.
A week later, out on the road, the problem was right back. Never fixed. It was diagnosed immediately - the first time - by a trusted shop they were able to visit in Ukiah. Turned out to be a fuel supply issue. Common to diesels. "Should have been the first thing they checked," said they. Resolved in about 30 minutes for about $75 bucks.
Moral of the story. If you want to get screwed by a place that doesn't know what it's doing, go here. If you want someone to fix the problem fairly, for a fair price, go elsewhere. F me once, shame on you. F me twice, shame on me. PASS read more
