We first discovered Moozika at a library event, and I was immediately blown away by how engaging Jesse was with all of the little ones. When he shared information about his private music classes, I knew we had to check them out -- and I'm so glad we did. Jesse is bilingual, writes his own music, and somehow makes every class feel magical and fresh. From scarves and puppets to instruments and interactive activities, there's always something new to capture the kids' attention and imagination. One of my favorite parts is that he introduces a new instrument regularly, giving the children such a fun and enriching exposure to music. My son and I both genuinely look forward to classes. As a mom, one of the most rewarding things has been watching my son grow in confidence and comfort -- not only participating in class, but engaging with other children and with Jesse himself. It's become so much more than just a music class for us. We've also attended Jesse's concerts, which feature a full band and are absolutely incredible for families. The joy, talent, and heart he brings to everything he does is truly special. We hired Jesse for our son's 2nd birthday party. He brought a cart packed with fun activities and elements such as drums, silks, and eggs shakers, that had the kids playing, laughing, dancing an jumping for the full session. His ability to speak Spanish was great as we are a bilingual family. I'm a performer myself so I know how challenging could be to work with kids. Jesse is an amazing teacher and performer! My little one has been attending his classes all fall in Carroll Park and he is the highlight of her week. His songs are delightful (which is lucky because they get stuck in my head)! Most exciting to me is that since attending his classes, my toddler has become so much more interested in music. She sings all the time at home now and plays with percussion, which is something they explore in his class. He also has the kids dancing, and my daughter has begun dancing more at home as well. The classes are very safe -- outdoors and spaced apart, for Covid safety. It's the first class she's been able to attend since the pandemic started, and I can see how it has made her bloom with joy. We met Jesse at a party my 2 year old son was invited to a few months ago. He simply loved the whole show and songs so started to bring him to classes as well. It is beautiful organized educational musical chaos. Jesse has a handle on the class and includes all the children. I get weekly videos from my mom who takes my child to class and every week Jesse pull out new instruments from his bag. I was able to make it for one class and I saw that he makes sure every child has a turn using or touching a new instrument. And in a room full of children there was no disorder. Jesse is fantastic with the little ones! He is engaging and has many different props to keep the kids interested. He also I believe makes up his own cute songs that are catchy and you learn in a couple of classes. My daughter is too young to be super excited, but I can tell she loves these music classes. We enrolled our daughter in Moozika for three sessions, and she always loved Jesse and the class. A lot of the songs were the same so we got to sing along (our 2 year old always got excited when it was time to play with the shakers and the drums!), and there was always a special something in each class - a parachute, harmonicas, didgeridoo and more. I highly recommend the Moozika kids music classes for babies and toddlers. The teacher, Jesse, is so talented and is absolutely amazing with the kids. We have been going to his classes for about a year now and can't express how much we love it. I've tried a few of the different music classes and singalongs in the neighborhood and can definitely see the energy and authenticity Jesse brings to each session. The original music and new activities each week keep both my son and me engaged and entertained. He even incorporates some basic Spanish in a fun way, while not excluding non-Spanish speakers at all.
