We hired Jesse for our son's 2nd birthday party. He brought a cart packed with fun activities and elements such as drums, silks, and eggs shakers, that had the kids playing, laughing, dancing an jumping for the full session. His ability to speak Spanish was great as we are a bilingual family. I'm a performer myself so I know how challenging could be to work with kids. Jesse is an amazing teacher and performer! My little one has been attending his classes all fall in Carroll Park and he is the highlight of her week. His songs are delightful (which is lucky because they get stuck in my head)! Most exciting to me is that since attending his classes, my toddler has become so much more interested in music. She sings all the time at home now and plays with percussion, which is something they explore in his class. He also has the kids dancing, and my daughter has begun dancing more at home as well. The classes are very safe -- outdoors and spaced apart, for Covid safety. It's the first class she's been able to attend since the pandemic started, and I can see how it has made her bloom with joy. I started to take my daughter to Moozika when she was just 4 months old. She responded to Jesse and his class like I never saw before! From there out, we went every week! It is beautiful organized educational musical chaos. Jesse has a handle on the class and includes all the children. I get weekly videos from my mom who takes my child to class and every week Jesse pull out new instruments from his bag. I was able to make it for one class and I saw that he makes sure every child has a turn using or touching a new instrument. And in a room full of children there was no disorder. Plus, Jesse is great with emails and speaks Spanish with is great for this bilingual family. read more

We enrolled our daughter in Moozika for three sessions, and she always loved Jesse and the class. A lot of the songs were the same so we got to sing along (our 2 year old always got excited when it was time to play with the shakers and the drums!), and there was always a special something in each class - a parachute, harmonicas, didgeridoo and more. Jesse is fantastic with the little ones! He is engaging and has many different props to keep the kids interested. He also I believe makes up his own cute songs that are catchy and you learn in a couple of classes. My daughter is too young to be super excited, but I can tell she loves these music classes. The older kids scream and shout his name with delight! He never excludes any kids, which I like even though I have a younger non mobile little one. I highly recommend the Moozika kids music classes for babies and toddlers. The teacher, Jesse, is so talented and is absolutely amazing with the kids. We have been going to his classes for about a year now and can't express how much we love it.
