Women beware of this shop! I had both my fuel pump and started replaced here and neither lasted a year even. They're using cheap parts and charging for new ones and although they say they warranty their work at the bottom of your receipt it says parts are guaranteed but not labor. My exhaust was definitely broken by whomever put the second starter in and when my fuel pump went out I had had enough with going back and forth to these masogynistic scam artists. I left an appropriate and well detailed review on google that was replied to by Clyde both on the website and by mail on his letterhead sent to my home which was filled with ignorant male posturing, referring to me as a man (I'm female) and saying I should've came and settled this in person like a real man. He has never once addressed the fact that they broke my exhaust and didn't notify me or fix it. He seems to think it's okay to call what was once a loyal customer a coward and a liar. Please do not give your money to this backwoods man whom is obviously stuck in the past and seems to think only men drive or have their vehicles worked on. read more

Went in to get a dragging brake fixed, I had rotated tires two weeks earlier and saw that my brakes were fine. I couldn't figure out why it was taking so long, but I just waited, two different times they came out and said, "you wanted new brakes right? I said "no, just fix the right rear dragging brake" they never told me anything, I asked him how much it cost, and he kept changing the subject. They put 4 new brakes, and 2 new rotors, and I never knew until I looked at the receipt outside. What can you do at that point, they knew they scammed me. He claims he has tried to make things right, but that is a lie. If you want to know the truth, ask the people of king, many people have had similar experiences. read more

I showed up after having a breakdown on the highway, and although they were busy that day, the technician at the counter still took the time to go out and look at my car. A loose clamp, five minute fix, and they didn't even charge me for it. Very kind and accommodating, would recommend. read more

I brought my van here to have my brake pads fixed and they ended up doing the calipers as well and charged me $433. But the real problem was they let me sit in the office for 2 hours, telling me they were almost finished, when in fact, I found out they didn't have the part and had to drive to Winston-Salem to get it and break for lunch. I was starving and could have gotten a ride earlier had I been told the truth. He apologized and gave me his old truck to run home and get lunch because it was going to be another hour at least. I should have learned my lesson, but I gave them another chance a month later... I had an issue with my steering--it was making a grinding sound when turning the wheel hard and behind the steering wheel it sounded like it was bubbling or percolating. I brought it in and they greased the wheel bearings and charged me $25. Didn't help a bit. Brought it back. They replaced the power steering hose for $297. It stopped making the grinding but continued to make the bubbling sound, so we took it back a third time. They said they had to get the air out of the hose. So $323 later, still making a bubbling sound occasionally and after the 3rd visit, the A/C behind the steering wheel started blowing out hot air. All other vents worked great-passenger side and middle row was blowing out very cold air. So I stopped by to see if maybe they had accidentally bothered the vents behind the steering wheel while working on it because it was quite a coincidence. The owner told me that there was no way that was the case. I asked, "Are you sure? It seems like quite a coincidence that it is only the vents near the steering wheel." He yelled at me in front of other customers that he wasn't born yesterday and people always try to blame them for other things going wrong with the car. He then said, "I suppose if you had a miscarriage it would be my fault too!" I was mortified that he would say such a thing in such a rude, disrespectful tone after I had already been there 3 previous visits to get one thing fixed and was a repeat customer. I will never give them another dime and will tell everyone I know about the horrific behavior of the owner. read more

I'm amazed this garage is still open. They literally almost overcharge every person who comes in, just check out other internet reviews. I went in once without doing research on the place first, boy that was a mistake. An $800 mistake, which really should have only cost half that. But that was my mistake and I won't make it again.
