Start to finish I want to say it was 3-4 weeks including renaming an out-of-state deed in addition to our properties in Tennessee. The first step is a consultation which took us maybe 45-min. We were given a questionnaire via email before that appointment so we were prepared. At our consultation we set a time to meet to sign documents approximately 3-weeks later. Amazing turnaround time! We paid for a portion of the amount due when we decided to proceed and paid the remainder at the second meeting. We received an emailed copy of our documents to review a week or so before signing and I found that helpful. Understand every word and don't be embarrassed to discuss sensitive issues/concerns. Madelyn had to explain to me a few legal terms used that I didn't quite understand and we discussed ways to avoid conflict when this estate is used. After signing documents you'll be given a folder with a checklist of tasks to complete the estate. It's straightforward and Madelyn continued to clarify any issues we stumbled upon.
