Moono is the first store in Germany that offers frozen yoghurt, ice cream and bubble tea since 2012 as an overall concept. Our Bubble Tea is a cult in Berlin and everyone should have enjoyed it! Above all, our visitors appreciate the friendly and personal service of Moono to its customers.

History

Established in 2012.

In the spring of 2010, we opened our first frozen yoghurt store at Simon-Dach-Str. 40 under the name Yobarca. In order to be able to offer our products to a larger audience in Berlin, we built a Frozen Yoghurt Mobile and for the first time offered Frozen Yoghurt and Bubble Tea at the 2010 Carnival of Cultures. Demand rose steadily and more street festivals. Over time, the frozen yoghurt scene grew in Berlin and we wanted to set ourselves apart with our own recipe from our competitors. Some test tests and test dinners with friends later it was time and our incomparable frozen yoghurt was ready for Berlin. In 2012, our concept was expanded to include the product ice and the stores were given the new name moono under my patronage.

Meet the Business Owner: Dandan W.

Inspired by a Frozen Yogurt Store in L.A., I wanted to bring this delicious ice cream to Berlin and got excited about planning to open a Frozen Yoghurt store. But I also wanted to offer something from my native China in Berlin, which was still unknown and the choice fell on Bubble Tea. In the spring of 2010 it was time and we opened our first frozen yoghurt & bubble tea store in Friedrichshain and the people were thrilled! After the demand exploded, we opened two more stores in Charlottenburg. Our products are now cult in Berlin and the demand is rising and rising ... I was here in winter, so did not have any ice cream. They had renovated the place and it looked…read moregood, but there was still the stench of cheap paint in the air, detracting a lot from the experience. The service was not very attentive, but the coffee was ok. The Belgian Waffle I ordered was, however, raw inside. When I complained, I was informed that they have them delivered and that there was nothing that could be done and that I'd have to pay the potentially Salmonella-infested raw dough I had. Bye bye forever.
