I booked a massage on a nice and sunny Saturday morning- upon arrival, the entrance was private and discreet. Walking into the property, you feel the calm, peace, and serenity! I was glad to have made it a solo day for me. There are various nooks & crannies to escape into along with the mineral water pool and hot tub.. I was there for massage and sunshine. If you're looking for spa Sec-he or La Quinta.. etc, this is not that grandiose spa, you won't find the extra amenities or gender separate lockers, but you will have a superb experience if you're really a spa junkie! Service was excellent! From the welcome to the farewell! My therapist was Yessica, who was amazing, knows here stuff and really did reset and recharge me!! I went home that day and really did nothing but relax, and this is hard for me to ever do! I highly recommend this place and suggest you block everything and everyone for your time there! Also- the tea at the end of your treatment is a nice touch!

I thought it may be too crowded during the tour & wellness weekend so we waited until it was over with then bought a day pass at The Good House. I tried to buy an all day guest pass online but the website wasn't cooperating. I called The Good House and spoke with Emily. She was very helpful and nice when I purchased our full day passes for the following day. They allow only 10 guests per day for the day passes. There were only 8 of us there (which included the hotel guests and 4 day pass users). Then 2 of the day pass guests left because they bought a two hour session instead of an all day pass (10am - 4pm). When we walked through the gate, it was beautiful and felt so serene and peaceful. The property is beautiful. Even though it was In the low 80's we kept cool due to the trees that shaded the perimeter of the pool area. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas surrounding the pool area as well as pool noodles to use. The area around the hot tub was nice as well. There are a few chairs surrounding the hot tub area. The hot tub is located in front of the resort rooms. The water of the pool and hot tub were perfect. The dry sauna was also nice to use. Housekeeping was cleaning the rooms so I asked Emily if we could see the rooms that were empty. She graciously showed us 2 of their rooms. We would consider staying there the next time we are in the Palm Springs area. We ordered Van's White Pie and the seasonal soup of homemade tomato soup. Both were delicious. Under a covered area there is a very long dining table and chairs, free drinking water, and a microwave to use. We definitely will be going back to The Good House.

We wanted to enjoy a visit to Palm Springs and the Salton sea area. Instead of a day trip, which…read morecan be fatiguing, we decided to pack a bag and spend the night. My friend and I were beyond happy with the beautiful and quiet setting. We enjoyed a superbly private stay, as it's off season. Most people come to stay when the weather is cooler. There are three mineral water pools, one in an open sided, Beautifully constructed, covered patio. One wall was river rock. Another wall was tiled seating that was cool and comfortable to sit on. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna the morning we left, before breakfast. Sweating for 30" is relaxing if you haven't tried it yet. Breakfast options included Avocado, tomato, hard boiled eggs, bagels, croissants, fresh cooked waffles, cold, cereal, yogurt, half-and-half, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and I'm sure more I did not note. We breakfasted I'm a lovely little patio, surrounded by birds and plants. A neighbor cat visited but did not engage. There are daybeds along the pool and a few under the trees in the patio in between the row of rooms. I believe there were a total of 14 rooms. Each room has cool tiled floors and a a fresh king bed. Ours had a lovely bathtub with the hottest shower I think I've ever had. There are imported Italian soap, shampoo, and conditioner (that left my hair looking very pretty). There were two wonderful robes in the boudoir. I wore mine too and fro as I am born to spa and was in seventh heaven. Our room opened up onto a large patio balcony from which we watched the sunrise and the sunset over the valley in front of us. The amenities are open 24 hours. The owner, Mrs C is hospitable and engaging. She has Italian soaps and such for you to purchase, as well as soda pop and wine. Time and money went into planning this spa. The quality imported furniture and tile, the red padded patio furniture. Fountains, outdoor gas fireplaces, everywhere one looks is loving details. And... nobody under 21 allowed

The most…read moreimportant thing is how you feel when stay somewhere, and Tuscan Springs Hotel & Spa creates a warm feeling of peaceful elegance. First of all the owner's name is Camillia and she is actually the person working the desk. She has a great deal of pride in her beautiful boutique hotel and she wants all of her guests to have the best possible experience. Her personal touch is definitely felt. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A big plus is that the jacuzzis and pool are open 24 hours. They have a semi-indoor hot spring jacuzzi that is very large and has a really nice ambiance (especially at night) with the lanterns on the wall. They also have another hot spring jacuzzi outdoors by the pool and it is amazing to soak in this jacuzzi and watch the sun set over the mountains across the valley - Truly a million dollar view! Their pool is luke-warm and so nice to take a dip after soaking in the jacuzzis. And if you plan on spending the day on their pool deck they have lots of nice cushioned pool lounge chairs and 5 outdoor beds. There are also tables you can sit at and have a meal or play games, etc. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. I love the dark wood, heavy curtains and Italian tile! The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Tip: they have a couple of rooms that have private outdoor patios overlooking the valley and mountains but they don't offer these rooms on Priceline, Expedia or other travel service. Camellia said they only book these rooms directly from the hotel website or by calling. They also have a nice area for massages & treatments. We didn't get any treatments but I believe they have independent massage therapists come in when you book treatment. But it is a really nice spa / treatment area that rivals some of the best spas I've been to.

We went during Coachella weekend and they even did a care package for us which I thought was just a little extra touch. Also after the concert, I saw the fridge had water and even sparkling water in there for us a lot of hotels don't go the extra mile to do things like this and I really did appreciate it. Also, one thing that I really appreciated was my husband and I realize we left his backpack and the owner after calling him immediately ran over picked it up for us and held it for us. Unlike big hotels which would've made us leave a message to Lost and Found. This show shows you that you get a little extra great service. Definitely will stay here again.

This place was an absolute gem in beautiful Palm Springs. The previous owners cared for the…read moreproperty as wonderfully as they cared for their guests. They were unintrusive, yet always on the premises if a guest needed anything. Under their care and ownership, The Hideaway was was given a Class 1 Historic Site designation in Palm Springs, and it well deserved it. Their hearts were in this place. The communal kitchen was open to all and from it, a light morning breakfast of fresh brewed coffee, teas, fresh fruit and fruit juices, yogurt, and toast and english muffins were offered. This was served in the adjoining lounge area which was open all day for guests to enjoy. (Pictures still remain on this website.) It was a great venue to meet and chat with other guests if that's what you felt like doing. (I imagine Covid shut this down, but they never brought it back.) The well-maintained bikes they had on the property were designated for guest use. We had a blast many mornings riding around Palm Springs seeing sites one would be inclined to miss driving by in a car. In the afternoons, as guests swam and lounged poolside and sipped whatever they were drinking, this kind of breezy, light 50's/60's martini lounge music played, adding to the whole mid-century vibe. This place was absolutely amazing. We were sad when the owners sold, but hopeful that new management would take the same care of this historic property and its guests, but it is now an entirely different experience. Gone are these amenities, as is the care and the heart that went into running this place. It looks and feels like if a dime can be saved by providing the minimum, it is. (To be fair, there are coffee pods and Kirkland breakfast bars in every room). Staff is rarely around; during our last stay, we had to repeatedly call someone to get the pool cleaned and cleaned the pool ourselves several times. Stuff is broken or torn and neither fixed nor replaced. After coming here annually for well over a dozen years, we were spoiled by what was. It's a shame and a disappointment that the care and attention that went into our amazing experiences at the Hideaway are gone. This Historic Site in Palm Springs deserves better and so do its guests.

I was a little scared when I read that most of the recent reviews were negative. I was thinking "oh no! What did I get us into." This place is a blast from the past. The decor is that of a mid century modern and is a really cozy quadrangle set up. The interior feels homey and the property is set up like an air bnb with shared amenities. They play 1950s music all day on speakers throughout the complex, it creates that vintage feel but can get repetitive after a few days. Lounge with tables, board games, travel brochures, couches, fire place, coffee and tea, and industrial kitchen for use during your stay. (Old reviews mention happy hour, breakfast, snacks, etc. these are no longer offered but why not just bring your own?) Each room has microwave and mini fridge. Outdoor gas fire pit for use. The pool is small but has a deep end 8ft which is nice. There are pool noodles and some tubes to use. The hot tub is spacious and powerful jets. We stayed in the Hawaiian surf room, loved the theme it was so cute and felt like a tropical getaway. The shower is small but functional. Good AC unit with a remote control and ceiling fan. Surfboard coffee table and wicker love seat add to the tropical feel. Overall this was a nice private getaway. You can be left alone to relax! If you need anything you can text the hotel and someone replies super quick in my experience. The hotel feels very secure with codes needed to enter the complex and security cameras at the entrance and surrounding the complex. (Probably for management to check and make sure everything is running smoothly). I would stay here again in a heartbeat and I have stayed at a few different boutique hotels in the area. This would be a top choice! Please realize this is an older complex and it does show some wear and tear but come on the building is probably 100 years old or somewhere close to that. If you are expecting a sterile, high end, resort feel for your stay this is not your place... but otherwise this is a great choice! I couldn't help but feel bad for the owners with all of the really bad reviews on here because that was truly not my experience. I left off one star because there are definitely areas of improvement that could be made but not enough to ruin my experience.

There are 10 rooms available and each one is a different theme in the 1950s. I stayed for two nights in the Crooners room and I enjoyed my stay a lot. When I arrived, Tim, the inn keeper assisted me with my room keys and showing me around the property. My room was decorated with the Rat Pack and I loved it. All rooms are a maximum of two people with a hot tub, refrigerator with water, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning, and DVD player. If you'd like, bring a DVD and popcorn to enjoy during your stay. The bed was pretty comfortable. There were more than enough pillows which I'm guilty of using more than one pillow while I sleep. I love how the comforter was linen on the outside, but cozy and warm on the inside. The Crooners room has two sinks, but I only used one. There is happy hour everyday at 5pm by the pool or communal area with snacks and beer or wine. During my stay there were chips and salsa and the following day was veggies with dip, with of course a drink of choice. Really nice touch added to my stay. It's been a while since I have stayed in a bed and breakfast and I love the homeyness here. Breakfast is served in the communal dining area with hand sanitizer provided. The three-course breakfast starts with a fruit smoothie, a fruit parfait and a hot breakfast. For breakfast they served blueberry pancakes with sausage and the following day it was quiche with artichoke hearts and potatoes. I loved the service here so much. You sit at a table and they serve the food to you. The pool is open 24 hours will pool floaties available to use as well. Another thing I like about this place is that because there aren't many people (max 40 people at a time) it is highly likely you will get the pool to yourself. When I checked out and left the property I told my husband I would enjoy staying here again. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend you stay here too.

General hotel layout was nice, felt vintage and was a refreshing twist. Room layout was interesting, tv was placed in front of the couch so you can't watch tv in bed. When first entering our room: 1. The two ceilings lights either flickered or did not turn on at all. The room was pitch black until we PLUGGED IN the closet lamp. 2. The bathtub was not clean, there were hairs. Bathtub was paint was chipped and the faucet was leaking as well. 3. The kitchen utensils were not clean. Forks, glasses and even the roll of paper towels were found dirty or used. The extra rolls under the sink were unwrapped. When coming to our room a few hours after check in, calling customer service (calling three times) took more than an hour, just for us to be told that the lighting and cleanliness issues will be solved in the morning. Was really looking forward to the experience but upon our first few hours, we felt unwelcome, uncomfortable and turned off of our whole stay. Especially when faced with the lack of cleanliness in the restroom, if our bathtub could be so apparently dirty, what else could they have missed? We were forced to spend the first few hours fixing up our room before starting to feel comfortable. This meant scrubbing the bathtub, washing every dish and checking every surface. With the lengthy and detailed check in process, we were really expecting a quality, travel worthy experience. Instead, it felt we were greeted with an unclean, uncomfortable welcome. As guests, it was made obvious to us that customer service was not at the forefront of our experience. Having decentralized customer service (through phone numbers and apps) made us feel so unattached from the actual experience.
