Found this place on Yelp after my Plan A restaurant told me it had already done last call; decided to give it a try b/c vegan Korean (esp meat-based) is hard to come by. The location unnerved me a bit: The place is apparently a ghost kitchen in a warehouse-type neighborhood that's lit up like a baseball stadium, presumably to deter theft. But the storefront itself is clean and orderly. The Impossible Beef dumplings were fine; no complaints there. The avocado bulgogi bowl was a bit peculiar. I appreciated the attempt at vegan Korean BBQ, but the other ingredients were not like a regular Korean bowl (bibimbap): Here were kimchi, kale, sautéed onions, bell peppers. I try never to second-guess chefs, esp if they're doing something novel, but I felt the cooking was decent enough and the presentation was close enough to bibimbap that it might as well have been. A decent bibimbap w Impossible Beef would probably have been enough to warrant four stars; vegan Korean is that rare. Instead I found myself stuck in an Uncanny Korean Valley of sorts. Bonus points for their using compostable packaging and utensils. Docking a point b/c they included utensils when I asked for none. read more

Absolutely love this place! We found it during the COVID era of doordashing every other night. After eating the same stuff over and over I can't say enough what a welcome relief this place was. The flavor is so bomb and it's sooo filling. On top of all that it's reasonably priced. They would offer buy one get one free deals on bowls so we were averaging Moonbowls at least once a week. I personally get the Avocado bulgogi because I'm a vegetarian, but even my carnivorous boyfriend is all about it. I really hope this place thrives!! It's my go-to meal option right now. read more

Ordered a scheduled pick up, they made immediately and texted me it was done, 45 minutes before I could pick it up. Had to spend 20 minutes on the phone with Yelp, where all the restaurant offered was for me to pick up the food they made 45 minutes ahead of time. Seeing as I don't want cold food I had to have yelp cancel the order. I've worked in restaurants that take yelp orders, why are you ok with the customer getting cold food when y'all are the ones that didn't look at the big scheduled time at the top of the fax. read more

The Korean Hot Chicken Bowl with the breaded chicken used to be delicious, but I give up. The breaded chicken has been dry, burnt, and inedible, multiple times now. I've gotten yellow brocolli, missing ingredients, as well as an ingredient that I was not sure of. This place would be great, but their food is so inconsistent. I'm grateful for a dedicated gluten-free place, but this is just poor quality control. I brought this to their attention long before writing this review. read more

So I've been to this place twice and here is my honest review. Great idea with good ingredients but poor execution. The Korean hot chicken bowl I just ordered was horrible. Hard chewy luke warm chicken on a bed of greens, pineapple, etc. The flavors are good but the quality of the meat is horrible. I'm sure this probably supposed to taste better than this. Please figure out how to quality control what goes out the kitchen because like others I don't want to waste my money again. read more

Someone I know recommended this place a while ago so when it popped up in the deals section on Postmates I decided to try it. I ordered two sesame tofu bowls, one with brown rice and one with bamboo rice. I also ordered the BBQ cauliflower wings. The bowl was on special for buy one, get one free so it was very reasonably priced. Everything was super tasty. The portions were plentiful and I ended up eating this all day long for multiple meals. Only issue I had was the food wasn't very hot, which I'm guessing has more to do with the delivery driver and the location being a bit far from my house, which means there were probably other stops before mine. On the bag was an advertisement for a free bowl if you sign up for their mailing list and order through their website. So two days later I ordered two more bowls and one of them was free. This time I got the sweet chicken bowl for my partner and the BBQ cauliflower bowl with added sesame tofu for myself. I was near their location so I decided to pick up this time. The process was pretty easy and the food ready right on time. Mine was super delicious - maybe the portion was smaller because I ate it so fast! So glad I tried this place. I hope my partner likes theirs so we can address this to the rotation. There's very few places that have such good vegan options for me and also meat dishes for them. I'm so glad I tried this place.
