I have been going to Jim's office for almost about a year now. Every time I go my experience is always as welcoming as the first time. Dr. Jim very knowledgeable and his expertise has helped my body so much. I suffer from fibromyalgia, for years I have had pain in my back. The health review will likely be your longest appointment. All appointments following are rather quick (5-10 min). Rest assured Dr. Jim respects your time, and will not keep you waiting long at all! Upon entering the office, you will be greeted with pleasant front office staff that are always very helpful with booking appointments that fit your schedule (they even met with me on Christmas Eve). You will receive a text, email, and call to remind you of your appointment, which is a great touch for people with busy schedules! You will also have the option to add a therapeutic massage to your treatment, and if you are lucky, your insurance company may cover it! Moon Chiropractic is the best in the business! Dr. Jim is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. He will address any and all concerns you have during, before, or after a session. Initially, you will go in for an evaluation in which he will measure how your body moves and how he will address concerns and pain from within your body. The second visit, Dr. Jim prints out a packet that you are free to take, even if you never go back! The packet has examples of stretches for you to do to augment the work that he is doing and to get you back in tip top shape again. It also contains the explanation/s as to why you are feeling pain or discomfort. The session typically goes quick (5 minutes) depending upon what your complaints are. The quality doesn't stop there. Dr. Jim believes that keeping your muscles loose and in place will keep your spine functioning properly, so depending upon what he recommends for you, you will more than likely receive a one hour massage as part of your adjustment copay! Tips are appreciated but not required. This kind of service cannot be found anywhere. I live in Pittsburgh and would drive 40 minutes just to get adjusted here mostly because of the element of quality and attention to detail. I would recommend Ayana or Sochi, both of which are phenomenal, gentle massage therapists. If you are in need of quality care and service, look no further, Moon Chiropractic is your place! read more

I was skeptical about going to a chiropractor because I've only gone to physical therapy in the past. I decided to try Moon Chiropractic after my sister has gone there and raved about it. Dr. Jim is very nice and friendly! The first time I went I got assessed and Dr. Jim explained everything to me about how the visits would go and how he would work to help my issues. Along with getting worked on my Dr. Jim, you get a massage. Liz really enjoyed that part and that's the reason she really wanted me to try it. Well, on of my next appointments I got my first massage I didn't know what to expect, the lady that did my massage's name was Barb. First off, she wasn't friendly at all! After the massage, she made a comment about a physical mark on my stomach..she then tried selling me a product from "It Works." It was very unprofessional! I got very sick after the massage, part of it I should've drank more water, however that wasn't normal to be sick for two days after the massage! I would definitely go back to get worked on by Dr. Jim but would never get a massage there again! read more

I went to Moon Chiropractic today for a massage because my chiropractor does not offer that service. I was prompted greeted by Ilonyah and taken back to a warm, cozy massage room. She briefly inquired about why I was there. When I replied I have lower back pain and pain radiating down my leg, she offered to focus solely on those areas. I enjoyed a GREAT 60 minute massage for $60. She kept me covered and comfortable. I highly recommend Ilonyah and hope that I've spelled her name correctly. :-) read more
