There are plenty of 24 hour gyms who's hours are much more accommodating for people trying to get healthy or up their cardio. MRC closes way too soon and opens really late. That's its first problem. My wife was told she couldn't have our 7 month old baby anywhere with her except the jog track and the pool. Mind you my wife has our baby strapped to her chest while she works out at all times. She does not use the equipment. She does not use the gym machines. She does not occupy areas occupied by other gym members lifting weights. She finds an unoccupied area not being used and does stretches and exercises prescribed by her physical therapist with her baby. Being new parents we are not comfortable leaving our baby with strangers in their child watch area. I'm sure all the parents here can understand that. The child care team members I have met are very kind and polite. This is a parental instinct and concern not an accusation against the staff. There was no exception made or solution sought-after for my wife's workout needs and her parental rights. The policy gets in the way of the gym member trying to use the facility. I understand safety and liability rules and I don't begrudge MRC for taking precautions but excluding parents from more than half of the centers options for a liability clause rather than trying to find a work around for a mother who's schedule with a newborn is hard enough doesn't really serve the community. This is not the first time or the first person who has been turned away from MRC because of a stupid policy. A gym needs to be accommodating to the needs of its members. Golds gym has excellent accommodation in the smallest matters for its members. Anytime fitness is available at 2 in the morning if your schedule is full. MRC is inflexible and it's management had a, "my way or the high way" kind of mentality. My wife has physical therapy she is going through due to complications with her pregnancy and she is also a mother of a newborn baby. MRC couldn't be bothered to accommodate her as a gym member needing a place for physical therapy and motherhood. I wonder what else and who else they would ignore for their backwards policies.

Montrose, indeed, the whole western part of Colorado has been begging for this sort of center for…read moresome time. I'm grateful to those who started it for their ingenuity and entrepreneurship. there's everything from batting cages to inflatable zip line. If you live in Montrose and have young kids, this is a great back-pocket entertainment venue. You may want to keep them in mind for hosting the ankle-biter's birthday parties.

Headed up to Dave Wood Winter Recreation Area today for some cross-country skiing…read more Felt kinda spoiled because just as we arrived around 1:15pm everyone was on their way out...so we literally had the trails all to ourselves! Speaking of trails, they have approximately 4.4 miles of beautiful and delicate slopes of the Uncompahgre Plateau. The trails appeared to be groomed and offer three levels of difficulty: Easiest, More Difficult and Most Difficult. There wasn't a whole lot of signage, so we just referred to our trusty map (see photo). The area is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the Cimarron Range, Storm King, Grand Mesa and of course the Uncompahgre Valley. The trails offer an array of aspen and ponderosa pines as well as gamble oak and sagebrush in the lower elevations. Speaking of which...elevations range from 8,000 feet at the forest boundary to 8,400 feet at the highest point on the cross-country ski trail system. This is such a great place for the family and outdoor enthusiasts! Dogs are welcome but it is recommended that owner(s) maintain full control of their furry pals, so as not to cause any unforeseen hazards to other users. No permits are required and ample parking is free on either side of the trailhead. What else can I say but we LOVE this winter recreation area! Be Happy Outside!

The location was great, the building and grounds looked beautiful and pleasing to the eye, the employees were friendly and efficient, this rec center had every kind of sport facility you can think of under its roof, the men's locker room was conveniently located, clean and large, and the weight room (my main activity today) was had all the main weight machines, cardio machines, and free weights. And it was reasonably priced for an over 55 non-resident like me ($6.50).

This park would probably be number one in my book. Has Miles abroad paved walking trails which connect to a much longer bike path through the area, as well as smaller off-road walking trails. All of this runs along side the river Which is gold standard for flyfishing! So you can hike, bike, fish, walk your dog, picnic, and I'm not done yet There is a water park here where you can basically go white water rafting or tubing!!!!!!!! Never even heard of such a thing. Do yourself a favor and stop by on your way to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison national Forest. This is a really great town.

Larger motorhome spots overlook a beautiful grass area with a pond and huge (private) log cabin house. Meticulously maintained grounds with flower baskets, picnic areas, BBQs, free morning coffee. We've always enjoyed coming here and have never complained about the pricing. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. The first morning, there was only enough hot water for one person to take a shower. The second day, there was no hot water at all. I texted the campground on the day we were checking out to let them know about the issue. I was told that we should have contacted them sooner because, at that point, there was nothing they could do for us. As a loyal customer who has stayed here regularly for many years, I would have expected a little more effort to address the situation--whether that meant offering some type of adjustment, credit, or working with us on the price we paid for the deluxe cabin. I understand that things can go wrong, but it's how a business handles those problems that makes a difference. After 8 years of being a returning customer, I was disappointed with how this situation was handled. I hope the campground will take this feedback seriously, because we have enjoyed staying here over the years and would like to feel that loyal customers are valued.

There is nothing worse then looking up their open times on their Facebook page, and your kid getting excited, and to show up to find that it is closed. (Even when the posted hours on the door also say it should be open.) Mack's- If you just took care of accurately listing your hours, you'd be an amazing business.

We were in a cabin and the air conditioner was not working we left in the middle of the night and got a hotel for the night then return to the cabin and still air conditioner was still not working we went to the desk the nice lady from Florida got us another cabin she said no problem we transfer all our belongings to the new cabin which the air conditioner was working not 20 min later the manager said we must go back to the old cabin with the broken air conditioner i ask for a refund for the stay she said she cant do that .. she needs customer service Clair the manager she must have said she was the manager at least 10 times during the conversation

Can't get there because of the fires and the air quality is poor, but they're gonna keep their $80. Basically just immoral swindlers. Don't stay here. Also the lady who answers the phone is rude.
