So I called the latter for an appointment which they gave me for the next day at 8.30am. Arriving there on time, my thought process is how much time I will spend there and above all, is this going to cost me a fortune. At the reception, the lady was super nice and very professional. She was expecting me, and had all the details of my vehicle and the verification that needs to be done, and asked me to pull my car in. A few minutes later, the mechanic lifted the car up and less than 5 minutes later he had already diagnosed the problem and recommended that he will just remove part of the exhaust and solder another piece, rather than replacing the whole exhaust. He completed the job on the time estimated and at 9.31 am, I was paying the bill and left. It was nowhere I thought it would cost me, and totally amazed by the level of expertise and professionalism of the entire team. They are the muffler experts! Totally professional and above all, very trustworthy. They certainly deserve more than 5 stars This is how all car garages should be!

The car's exhaust was rattling quite a bit and since the car has 186k kms, I figured it may be time for the manifold. As I brought the car to the shop, the mechanic put it on a lift to inspect the problem. Since I thought it was the manifold, I said to him bluntly,"the manifold needs to be changed, right?" He answers me "Si (yes)" so i followed up with a "hold much will it cost me to change the manifold" and he replies "$320". Since I already looked up the cost for a cost for a manifold on rcokauto at aproximately $200 (https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=5790351&cc=1430775&pt=5860&jsn=11027&_nck=HllVxRCey1%2B2aVRDo41oQdTbcl3rxAmQeMcBm39t5kVc2IqyAbq5OQkLNJT7SMtKe00x9Cd4p8g24FoEZsMbUC4CC%2FabxPG8D31l59Jyfw13GKbC8eQQmwMdDv1lEJSF682IKdgCofnfK0d36EGR7%2BNvIhqQptdGaFtydKnPIzT8luPjAM6mRArtzGbm2zD2IIkV5hsMkOROoKgCFOlh753CA931JzN9ljYNhwyjZ2ihJ7tbFyFJYjjf13M9uEHBAaROZqQoK3Hr3hicmXuxbpMSY5SeHQEncXjZwVyZdWQ%3D), I figured 1 hour of labour plus the part should cost me about that price so I agreed to the work. Low and behold, as I watched them fix my car, all they did was repair the flex tube which goes to the manifold. After the repair was done, which only took a HALF hour, I asked the mechanic why he did not replace the manifold to which he now replied that the manifold was good. NOW HERE IS THE KICKER....he still wanted to charge me $320. The mechanic then accompanies me to the office where he tells the girl behind the desk that he never said there was an issue with the manifold, another guy that appeared to be more of a mechanic (or a manager) comes to tell me that to replace a manifold is over $500. Then I respond to him, "what is your hourly rate?", the mechanic took 30 minutes and the pipe cant be more that $50. He replies that they work by "job", not by hour and accuses me of not wanting to pay for services that he rendered. He goes further to say that they are human beings and a family business and continues to insinuate that I'm at fault and that I don't want to pay. I explain to the gentlemen that he is not dealing with an idiot. If the mechanic had said he would have simply repaired a flex pipe for $320, I would have never agreed to such ridicules price. I explained that even at $150 hourly rate, plus the cost of the flex pipe, my bill should not be greater than $200. I guess he knew that he could not hold my car for payment because he said "do you want to leave without paying?" and I responded that I was not there to cheat him but did not want to be cheated either. I upped my price to $250 and he charged me $250 plus taxes (my offer included the taxes) but I paid any way. BE WARNED....these people try to come across as honest, BUT THEY ARE ANYTHINHG BUT !!!!!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

They did a lot of work on my old GSX including repairing the belts, alternator work and throttle body. The also did a lot of my fluid and oil changes along with winter and summer wheel/tire installs. When I picked up my new car they balanced the wheels, did an alignment, sent my wheels off to get repaired and I even bought a set of Hankook iPike off them at a great price. I've also recommended them to a few of my friends, and they were all happy with the service and pricing they had to offer. We have followed Mr. Denoncourt from his former location to this new Varennes location. We highly recommend his services and this garage to anyone needing a competent/dependable and trustworthy garage. Furthermore, the manager Mr. Sylvain Chartier is a real pleasure to deal with. It should be noted that I don't speak much French and both Mr. Denoncourt and Mr. Chartier make tremendous efforts to talk to me in English which is not their first language. **THESE PEOPLE ARE GARBAGE**…read more Tried bringing a 1991 850i BMW to get restored there. I have about 12 things on my to-do list and was expecting a repair bill of at least 10k. So imagine my dismay when I look up unexpectedly from my list and catch the son making secret hand signals to the father when they thought I wasnt looking(!!!)... Seriously, what kind of men do that? I pretended not to notice because I dont care what they think of me, i just want them to fix my car. But you know, a smart businessman (instead of making fun of me) would consider me as valuable customer... the BMW 850i is a famously expensive to maintain world-class lemon... Anyway so I leave with the understanding that he's going to do my repairs and a week later I still haven't heard from him so I go back in person and he tells me he wrote my phone numbers down wrong (!!!) So I leave again but I'm starting to think they are just shining me on -and so I decide to call the guy only 5 days later because I still haven't heard anything... and when I get him on the phone he's pissed off at me and its like I'm BOTHERING HIM(!!) So this time, on the phone, I say ok -I'll wait for your call (maybe he just doesnt like my face?) Lol That was 6 weeks ago, im jump-starting my car 4x a times a day, these people are douche bags, lol. If you're the kind of person that reads reviews before going to a new business than I'm here to tell you what I wish I knew before wasting nearly 2 months -Dont waste your time!!!!!!!!! You definitely cant bring your BMW here if its older than about 10 years -because even though you're bothering them, they wont tell you to the hit the door. Instead they'll just jerk you around for fun I know it sounds crazy(!?#) but these jokers actually lied to me and then made fun of me behind my back sheesh!! That's sad for me but it shows they just dont care about doing a good job at all! I know what I saw, i know what was said, and there is no disputing this. So if this is how they treat someone who's excited to spend 10k, just imagine what they will do to someone who only needs $1000 in repairs??? Amen Brothers/Sisters Mike
