Every time I go to the center the owner is there that makes me feel so good about leaving my child there when the owner is there that shows me that she is serious about her work and she loves what she does and she's proud. They are also so willing to work with parents on their days . I had a family emergency and needed the center to take my child during certain days because as a nurse my days are already scheduled out six weeks in advance and I had no one else to watch my son because I am a single mother they had no problem helping me and my son has just started those are the kind of people you want watching your child the ones who actually care about children they could have said no and sent me on my way but they didn't. The center is clean they are proficient they are kind they help with potty training they have a hair dresser come in once a month to help cut kids hair because hair cuts aren't always the easiest things for two year olds. My son is socializing with other children . They have a full kitchen and a cook who makes the children's food fresh i mean really what more can a parent ask for . I love this center and would recommend it to any family I live about 20 minutes away and I wouldn't change going to this care center for any center that was closer to me. After reading the review below me I was appalled because those are not the ladies that are at the center the ladies I deal with are professional they are kind I hope that this review helps other parents when looking for a center for this child .

After a couple of visits, many of the church goers had learned our names and made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere is very warm. You don't get any dirty looks from any one when your baby gets fussy and starts acting up. They don't judge you because of your looks, lifestyle, ethnic backgrounds or history. During services they have 2 childcare rooms; infants and toddlers. After services most people move into the dining hall to grab a delicious pastry or fresh fruit along with something to drink and meet and mingle with every one. Working at one of the casinos I always feel drained and blah from all the negativity all around me. I enjoy coming here for the positive vibes. It's like a recharge. They have plenty of activities such as painting, tai chi, trips and fund raisers. I do the weekly Bethel Bible study. It's a small group of a dozen or so and we discuss the Bible in depth. Being new to reading the Bible this program is so helpful. They teach you that the mindset of the people of the times was more philosophical and not literal which helps make sense of many of the Bible verses. I always look forward to Bethel. I really can go on and on about how wonderful this place is but really you need to come here for yourself!!

The teachers are nice and have a good curriculum, but it doesn't vary from year to year, so if your child goes for multiple years they repeat the same songs/experiments/projects every year. It is a private, not-for-profit school, and that is good and bad. The good thing is their is a volunteer Board that handles the finances, policies, etc for the school. The bad side of that is children with behavioral issues (physically aggressive with others, excessive crying from separation issues) take a large amount of time and attention from the teachers, leaving the rest of the students with less direct teaching and adult interactions. The first year there was a floater teacher/teachers aid that was very helpful in these situations, but that position didn't exist in the 2nd and 3rd year for us. We would have gone elsewhere for the 3rd year but Covid restrictions kept our preferred school from opening. The room has multiple stations that kids can choose to play with items like play doh/floam, a water station, painting, play kitchen, etc, so they choose where they spend time, and then there is something teacher-led for the children to interact with the teacher. It's nice for kids to pick what they do, but there isn't a structure in place to ensure kids participate in the teacher-led portion, and if that is where the true curriculum planned for the day or week happens, it's possible your child is just playing all day. That's fine for part of the time, but we found it happened a lot more frequently than we wanted. We were looking for social interaction as well as teaching kindergarten preparation skills, and we ended up teaching most of the skills at home. There was a change in the Director position during our time there, and we did not feel that the new Director had the same skills or strengths as the previous one, and we did not agree with the handling of classroom issues that indirectly impacted our child. Maybe with time this will improve, but we were often frustrated or disappointed in the processes in place.

Our daughter has met wonderful friends and the level of education is exactly what we hoped for. It's also amazing to see the level of diversity in her classmates. Our previous daycare did not provide this diversity, so it's been a great experience for our daughter. We LOVE it here:)
