While eating out with a Rota, Spain friend recently, it eventually came to deciding what to eat for dessert. When dining outside or at home alone I don't usually have dessert, but this time I did and it was a toss-up between flan (custard and spanish egg custard is delicious) or natilla which i have never tasted before. As my friend was having it, I decided to have one too, and am I glad I did! A very rich smooth creamy flavor, and the dessert comes in a small plastic bowl of about 2-3" wide, and once you peel back the foil covering, there's a cracker inside on top! What a sweet treat too!! Delicious as I stated before, and is a great change from most desserts. Shopping around, you can find this in most spanish supermarkets in the refrigerated sections along with other milk and dessert products. Try it - you won't regret it at all!!
