You can tell everything is prepared fresh! Outdoor area is clean however I do feel like cafe should have a Separate area for those who would like to sit outside but not have fumes of smoke nearby food and drink it's off putting, anyway I don't mind. Service is ok with only one member who's name I did not catch, he has a very friendly approach and served us immediately unlike the woman who clearly saw us waiting to be served but decided to pass by, could understand if the cafe was busy, she also didn't look very happy not great customer services. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the gelato from Nonna's. It lacked the silky, creaminess that I found with gelato in Rome. There was a grittiness to the one I tried. It was a decent treat, but just didn't measure up to Italian gelato. The shop was cute and other desserts are offered. It's in a good location across from the Pablo Picasso Courtyard and close to merchants & shops.
